It was not the excellent food, but also the environment. The waiters dance for you. No matter how crowded the restaurant was, they were able to serve us our appetizers, main couse & drinks, without delay. Everything arrived at the right temperature. The server was knowledgeable and polite. The food tasted amazing!

Had a great experience at Joe’s, starting from the service. Our waitress Vinikay was very friendly, and made us feel very comfortable. She was very attentive and helped my aunt enjoy her birthday. They brought us out on the dance floor and got everyone involved. This changed the experience completely from my previous Joe’s Crab Shack encounters. The food was good and the drinks may not have had any alcohol but I felt that the overall experience was good and would definitely return.

Food was good. A little over cooked. The staff was nice and friendly. The waitress didn’t bat an eye at the mess my son made. Thank God. I hate when they judge because he is messy and she walked away with a great tip! Two adults and one kid came to $100 for lunch.

i ordered the shrimp platter and it has an assortment of different shrimps and they are all fantastic. they have good appetizer items as well and the service is prompt and very friendly. the atmosphere feels like your out at sea and enjoying a nice seafood dinner. great family place and definitely a recurring visitor.

The place was empty… You’d figure that the service would be good but that wasn’t the case. My shrimps were cooked with no spice or old bay….just plain. Then I had to send other people to get my waitress. Absolutely awful service and food. They need a new cook!!!! Now I know why it was empty!

In one word, TERRIBLE. I waited about 15 minutes for a table. The waitress highly recommended the hot crab dip. I ordered the dip. It was terrible. One big glob of cream cheese. I did not taste one bit of crab. Then I ordered the shrimp trio. BIG MISTAKE. The stuffed crab was burnt, and extremely dry. Too dry to eat. I left it. The stuffing was filled with bread. YUK. I asked for no rice, as I am slightly allergic to it. The white rice was piled high on the plate, with the shrimp with mango chutney piled on top of it. I did not eat that. The corn arrived with some kind of liquid stuff (I assumed melted butter), which I did not eat. I asked for water. I am still waiting for the waitress to bring it. I would NOT recommend this place, nor would I ever go back. The price for a horrible meal, $35 for one person.

Went there on a slow night, but service was still quite show. We were sat close to the bar, so the bartender also happened to be our waiter along with 3 other tables. I have no idea why they would let the bartender wait tables when he was working alone, and had to make drinks for people at the bar and for other waiters’ tales too?? Made no sense. Food was mediocre. New England clam chowder was not very good at all, and stuffed shrimp was lacking stuffing and flavor. Then at the end of the meal, we were not given the price breakdown receipt, just the credit card slip with the total? That was fissshy… lol. Will just stick to Peter’s Clam Bar which is close by and takes pride in their food and service.

This was my first time going to this location. It was very noisy, the wait was about an hour in a half! What was nice that you was able to go shopping in the area. There were many stores to keep you busy until it was time to return. I would like to try to go again but a weekday. Didn’t really care for all the noise!!! I like to eat my food in peace.
