We loved this place. First time visiting one while on vacation. Food was excellent, service was exceptional. There’s not many places I could joke around with my waiter like I did here. Comfortable and fantastic. Will return in the future on trips to the area.

The service was very very slow. Just slow to receive everything we ordered. The shrimp scampi was not tolerable at all. No seasoning. Overcooked. Definitely not what shrimp scampi should be like overall. The fries that my family had was extremely salty. The chiefs hand is heavy on the salt. To say I was disappointed was an understatement.

I was very excited to see a Joe’s crab shack, because lots of them have closed down. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was also great. The restaurant was very clean. Service was very great. We had a boil bag and a fried seafood plate. Everything tasted amazing.

we recently took a girls weekend trip to Orlando. and our waitress was absolutely amazing, she had the best energy and was so helpful, the food was outstanding, very clean restaurant, my granddaughter went crazy for the smores cake, infact the portion was so huge that all 3 of us enjoyed it, we had an absolute great time, I wish I could recall our servers name, she was the best

Food was good and you get decent portions. Have been going to Joes crab Shack for years- since I was little. We were baffled by the prices. When asking about crab and everything being marked over $40 and $50 Thai definitely isn’t a place for families. The server Omar was awful. The host had more pep in his step and energy and we were promised the best service by Omar from the host. He was awkward, slow and hardly returned to the table. The specialty menus didn’t even have prices so every item we’re asking about prices so we aren’t surprised when we see the bill. Just don’t think it was worth what I paid for. I ordered the fish fry as pictured and the fish was maybe an inch thick but most of that being the breading.

The decor of this place is amazing. You get quickly transported to a shack next to a tropical beach. Service was great. Went in for dinner and the place was empty which is not a good sign especially on this tourist area. The calamari entry was hard to chew and horrible. I should have complained but I was not in the mood to argue. The lobster and shrimp was ok but lacked freshness taste plus I expected bigger tails to par with the price of the plate. Overall it was way too expensive compared with other seafood chains. I won’t be coming back to this place. Tourists stay away! Go to Bone Fish Grill or Red Lobster a few blocks away.

As an Orlando local, I must say; my wife and I generally shy away from the tourist-built restaurants on I-drive. We stopped by after a long day at Seaworld and this place had a playground. As I looked over the menu, I was ready to jump on the King’s Feast. Unfortunately I was unable to taste it. We came across a long hair fried into our calamari (see pictures). We then decided to cut our visit short. We understand these things occasionally happen, but we had lost our appetite. The calamari was obviously removed from the bill as my wife had only one piece (she stated as a previous reviewer that it had little seasoning/flavor), so we were only charged our drinks.

Used to like here a decade ago. Since then, it seems to have gone downhill while other places have improved. The seafood wasn’t very flavorful and food just overall seemed….plain. The service and atmosphere aren’t very lively. No reason to visit Joe’s now.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Joe’s Crab Shack in Orlando, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The star of the evening was Manager Matt and his fantastic team. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that they prioritize customer satisfaction above all. Despite the bustling atmosphere, Matt noticed that we had waited a tad longer than usual for service. Without hesitation, he graciously comped our entire meal. It’s rare to find such genuine gestures of goodwill these days, but Matt and his team exemplified the very essence of outstanding customer service.
