This was my 1st time ordering from Joe’s grill. I think that they have great topping choices. I really loved the grilled eggplant and the baba ghanouj. Would definitely get again.

This is one of my go to Mediterranean restaurants because of how late they stay open and the excellent service. They recently made a small mistake on my order but refused to let me leave until they remade the order. It’s nice to see business that are willing to go the extra mile for their customers. By the way the beef and chicken bowls are excellent.

A super fresh and healthy middle eastern bowl at midnight?? Forget about it!! There are probably 5 places on the planet that offer this and one is right here in Royal Oak. There was a time when I stumbled in there one late night after a long day and mentioned casually in conversation what I was in the mood for- the owner whipped it up personally, off menu. Take my money, please.

I ordered a large salad and it was smaller than I thought. It was good but I just thought it would be more for what I paid.

Food is delicious, fresh and the smell will attract those around literally. The food is perfect for lunch or dinner and with the food you will be full. The hummus has great flavor and I love banana peppers so A+ and will be coming back for more.

Overall, the food was decent and not much to rave about. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. The portion size of a chicken breast is way too small for a large salad.

I ordered a large fattoush salad complemented with chicken shawarma, accompanied by a side of fries. The overall quality of the food was good, although it is a challenge to find establishments that truly excel in preparing fattoush salad. However, I must express my disappointment with the pricing, which led me to deduct three stars from my rating. At a cost of $22.23, I found it difficult to justify the expense, especially when the foundation of their salad is 65% lettuce, if not more. Additionally, the portion of chicken atop the salad was rather small! In all honesty, I could easily procure the ingredients and recreate the dish at home for a SIGNIFICANTLY lower cost. It appears that restaurants now are taking advantage of current economic circumstances, citing inflation as a rationale for their exorbitant prices. It’s very plausible that certain establishments are leveraging inflation as a pretext for inflating their profits, and it is rather unlikely that the restaurant owner would make an earnest effort to justify their pricing in a transparent manner. Truly a shame when food is the most fundamental aspect of human sustenance.

This used to be one of my favorite places for salads and sandwiches – really has gone downhill unfortunately. Prices shot way up and salads are now underfilled and limp. Missing items in the last few orders too. Too bad, they used to be awesome.

Ordered the Chicken Shawarma wrap, it was terrible. The vegetables where sliced to big the little bit of chicken was cold the pita bread was stale and hard, pieces where breaking off of the pita bread. No flavor and nothing I. The pita to the point it had a bunch of hollow spots. Called and they were not trying to help rectify or fix the order. Not all items that were ordered was put in the wrap and they didn’t even label the shawarmas to know who’s were who’s. The tahini sauce was so watered down it was all over and it had no flavor! Don’t waste your money go somewhere else very overpriced and the quality is terrible.
