Being Italian, my expectations were very high. Joe’s did not disappoint!! Treat yourself and GET THE DIPPING OIL! It is absolutely amazing! Takes me back to Sicily. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous! I highly recommend and will definitely be a frequent patron!

Atmosphere was spot on. The food was fresh and portions were amazing. Tour of Sicily was my favorite! Great for friends or date night. We’ll certainly be going back.

Owner was very friendly when we picked up the food. It was so well packed that even though it took 20-25 minutes to get home the food was still hot. We had a big order and not one thing was missing. The food was delicious. This was our first time trying but definitely won’t be our last.

The food is great. Normal sized portions. The waitress didn’t come aroumd enough to my liking, especially since there were only 2 tables. My glass was left empty far too long. The place seems old but not old in a cozy way. Just dull paint and as you can see in the photo the carpet is atrocious. It is horrible. Dirty dirty dirty. It needs to be restretched as there are numerous folds in the carpet, prime tripping hazards. The carpet just looks nasty, not clean but stained, but like it flooded years ago and never properly attended to. But the food is great.

A little disappointed. The rolls and flavored oil were great. Ordered the shrimp and artichoke dip which was good but, you had to use the rolls which didn’t really fit. We both ordered the veal Parmesan which was mediocre at best. I have always liked Joe’s and have recommended it all the time. It was probably just the Father’s Day crowd so, maybe I caught them at a bad time. I will go back for another chance!!!

Stopped at Joe’s Ristorante on a whim to order carryout after the “we should order in tonight but don’t know what we feel like eating” conversation during evening commute. Shrimp & lobster ravioli for myself, Tour of Sicily (chicken parm/lasagna/fettuccine alfredo) for my boyfriend and we were both impressed. Not only did the taste & quality of the food greatly exceed “something for dinner” expectations, it’s hands down the best Italian food I’ve had since moving to Louisiana!!

I’ve been to another Italian eatery in Slidell and I am now convinced Slidell does better Italian than Nola… And believe me I’ve looked high and low. Joe’s was fantastic. The service was very good and didn’t rush us at all. We ate our faces off and still had boxes to go. The pastas were very good but the sauces were right on. I look forward to my next visit. Oh… Get the dipping sauce for the rolls. You won’t be sorry.

Service was fast and friendly, with that said the atmosphere was dated and felt like something you would consider fine dining if you were 9 years old, and as for the food.. I could scrape cheese off the inside of a domino’s pizza box and had a more authentic Italian flavor. But with a proud Italian name like Joe’s my expectations were high

Had the shrimp Alfredo, was delicious. Best part was they had many condiments on the table, didn’t have to ask them, everything was there so customized to my choice!

To be honest, I had much higher expectations of the food than what we had. It wasn’t terrible; it was just okay. I was used to the one that was in Long Beach MS. Our server was nice.
