Gross. Greasy. Try better, it’s just pizza not rocket science. $55.00 for this?

I have tried most of the pizza places around Pembroke Pines and this place for me is by far the best one. It may be a bit pricey than other places but you will be satisfied once you bite into your first slice. Other places claim NY style blah blah but this places nails it!

If I could give them a zero I would. I ordered a chicken parmesan sub to go this is what I got. Not even Edible. I called to complain and was put on hold for 5 mins.

Joe’s Pizza provides a great quick stop atmosphere with authentic New York City pizza. The staff is very welcome welcoming & work quickly. The food is absolutely delicious. Everyone claims to have Nyc pizza. Joe’s Pizza actually delivers on that promise. I would recommend Joe’s to anyone who likes REAL New York pizza.

This is not a review about the quality of the pizza, it is about the rudeness of the owner. I have been going to this pizza location for 26 years and have been very loyal, buying from here even when the prices increased to make it much more expensive than other local shops. Yesterday, I ordered a pie and the person taking the order did not get it right. She added toppings including a non-vegetarian topping and the pizza came out to cost $42.49 plus tax. I picked up the pizza and questioned both the cost and error in toppings to the owner. Instead of saying anything like “I’m sorry” he said that he “just makes what is put down. That is what you got.” I told him that I have been a customer for almost 3 decades. He said that is not possible because he has only been the owner for 4 years. His words, his tone, and his attitude has made me lose my allegiance to this business. I tried to avoid going to Steve’s and John the Baker because of loyalty but that is now over. You have lost a loyal customer.

This is the worst pizza I ever had in my life. The chicken Parm sub was terrible with barely any chicken cutlet on it. The Sicilian pie was disgusting and had no flavor or love put into it. It was 90% bread with barely any sauce and soggy cheese on top. I wish I could give 0 stars. It is a disgrace that they call this New York pizza.

We ordered take out. The rolls were given to us basically almost raw. The pizza was stale. We asked for a refund they don’t give them the same day you have to wait til the owner comes and it’s the luck of the draw whether they give it to you employees said. They all were rude about our return. We ended up ordering something else and that too was not good. It was a wasted $60. Joes Old School is only good if you visit the one in the Hollywood. Don’t visit this one.
