Good New york pizza ! No seating area, only the standing table are available and they have only 2 tables in front of the shop and one counter inside. Fresh made pizza all the time. You can wait for the new one come out from the oven and get your pizza. Not expensive and taste good. Really enjoy to stop by for NYC pizza. They have other location you can try.

We made sure to stop by on our vacation to try Joe’s Pizza. It was very busy but the service was quick and we did not have to wait long. The actual restaurant is small so it did feel a bit crowded with the amount of people inside. We got a slice of fresh mozzarella, Sicilian square cheese, and cheese pizza. They were delicious! The slices are thin crust but huge. For some reason only the Sicilian and cheese pizza were warmed up. The place was cash only so make sure you have cash if you’re planning to go.

The atmosphere at Joe’s is casual and friendly. It’s a great place to go for a slice with friends or family. The restaurant is located in the heart of Greenwich Village, so you can expect a lively and fun atmosphere.

Not worth the price or hype. I paid over $40 with delivery for a single pizza.

You may visit this place since it’s on all tourists recommendations, with the spiderman thing, but it’s not really worth it. There are many other pizza places with better quality for less money.

Went to Joe’s pizza. We heard about its reputation as an extremely good pizza place. It is mostly true, the pizza is extremely good as per the five stars for food. However, the reason for the 1 star comes down to the rude and inadequate service. Came down for dinner wanting a box of pizza (8 slices). We figured out that it was cheaper to order by a boxful than 8 individual slices. We ordered it, and then waited. And waited and waited. We waited for 30 mins, standing up. We looked like fools, waiting for our pizza, hungry. Meanwhile, everyone behind us got their pizza in a second. The person who was last when we were first, got their pizza before us. This was outrageous and when we complained to the staff, they rudely told us to shut up. This clearly shows that the staff intended for us to spend more money.

Yes the pizza is delicious but any fresh pizza out of the oven would be. The pizza is the star but things around it took away from the experience, such as that you can only pay with cash, the place is very small and has limited seating (I went for late lunch and got myself a seat at the window).

Sometimes you just have to sit down, admire and order another slice. Well, after the Cheese Slice I actually had to try a slice of everything on the menu. This is the best base on a slice you’ll find in New York City. Couple that with a sauce that matches Scarrs and you have yourself something to keep coming back for again and again!

5/23 pizza tour 6 of 11- Way better than expected. Just a simple cheese slice but killer. Had great taste, held up, nice crunch and crust. Nothing to complain about. Pure NYC slice.

This is a legendary pizza spot in NYC. One that defines what a NYC pizza slice is. While I respect the place’s importance and story, one can expect that the pizza is above average from the regular dollar pizza, and honestly, to me, it is not. It does come out very fresh and hot, but that’s it. Also, the place is always crowded and gets smaller than it is. It’s still worth a slice for the fun of it, though.
