I enjoyed this place thoroughly! There’s something about the lights, exterior, and reputation that delivers! Place been here since the 1930s. Steak sandwich was good and you have choice of fried or raw onions. Hardly tasted the cheese on my steak. The sauce is unique. Some like it some not. It is more like ketchup then a tomato sauce. Plenty of outdoor seating.

I visited this place a few weeks ago, it was my first craving after a bad stomach virus. I was not disappointed. Service was fast and food was delicious. Portions are also generous! I like their outside eating area, it was quiet the day we went.

I dodged bullets to get a cheesesteak and was very disappointed. The atmosphere reminded me of a scene out of HBO’s “The Wire”. I think the cheesesteaks are really starting to go down hill, it used to be my favorite place to go. I hear the owner is a real surly character.
