Great experience! My wife and I came here for a date night. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. I had a New York Strip Steak with sauted mushrooms and onions. I will definitely be going here again!

Terrible terrible terrible! Don’t waste your money! My husband and I went here for a date night. As we arrived I asked the host if we could sit in the balcony which was empty and she rudely replied the it’s only for larger parties. Which I don’t understand how that could be because the tables up there only seat 4. My husband ordered a burger and when he got the burger he cut into it and it was completely raw inside! The waitress was very unapologetic about it and took it back and I finished my meal and his food still wasn’t out. So we just told her to forget about it. Terrible

The restaurant was very accommodating to my vegetarian needs! The black bean burger was amazing! The veggies were coated in a delicious sauce that made them all the better. Our server was Brandon and his service was exceptional for everyone at my table. I highly recommend for a special night out!

Went to Joe’s for the first time my dads father day lunch. We got in around 1335hr but as we were seated and were about to order we were told that the only thing we could have was the buffet at $15 a person with less then 15 mins till 1400 when the buffet was over. This is reason for the 3 stars was the principle of the matter of having no choice to but to have the buffet or leave and time did was not was not something to be had as the option to leave. The food was okay but the egg Benedict was old. I usually rate my places good or bad on the coffee. My coffee was spot on to my liking. The atmosphere of the establishment was weird. The darkness with red walls felt to be a more quite steakhouse setting but the radio playing on the speaker of rock and hair metal music seem to add to the confusion of the setting.

The service was terrible. Daughter sent her plate back, it tasted funny. Our server, talked to us approximately 4 times. Waited for water/drinks for 15 minutes. I literally gave up and went to the bar and ordered a Stella, I didn’t know if the server was ever coming back… The manager gave me my Stella, I asked her to add it to my table and she looked at me like …why are you getting this. After the evening and my kid’s meal being replaced with something different, the manager offered to comp the dinner. I said absolutely not necessary. I would have felt bad about the review I planned to leave.

So disappointed! We had really been enjoying eating at Joe’s, but what has happened!! This is one of only a few restaurants in Woodstock where you could get a good steak. But yesterday’s experience, has changed our opinion. Not only was the service terrible, but I ordered my steak medium and it was RARE! They gave me another and it was RARE! Finally I told them to forget it, since the rest of my party was almost finished with their meal. Ironically, the other steaks were cooked perfectly medium. And why did we have to go hunting for a pepper shaker? We had only salt and the other table had only pepper. I spoke to others who were there last night and they said the service was terrible also. Get it together!!

Where do I start? Lets see….first I hardly ever give bad ratings, but from the minute we walked, something didn’t feel right. The hostess appeared confused, she asked if we would sit at the bar even though there were plenty of open tables and we had made a reservation. After we were seated, an extraordinarily rude woman came up and sloppily took our drink order and took 15 minutes too bring our water, our appetizer took 25 minutes and was cold, we had to ask for a drink menu and 15 minutes later we had too stop the rude server to order the drinks. When she finally brought the Woodstock tea that sounded so delicious, it tasted like straight tea….it was brought with very little ice, it was Luke warm and when we asked about any alcohol that was supposed to be in it, she rudley relied that she had made it herself and put a doubleshot of vodka but she couldn’t find the blueberry lager that was supposed to be in it, well why didn’t you tell us that you couldn’t find the ingredients….she replied with….I will take it off your bill….and slammed the glass on her serving tray. I then went to the manager on duty…she said that they were short staffed….then another server came up and said that the rude server walked out, then the rude server walked back in and cursed at my fiance for voicing our concerns. Needless to say, we left. I have dealt with some bad service before but this was atrocious. Please steer clear of this place. We went to another local spot after we left and the server said that Joes has a bad reputation locally and has fallen off the last couple of years. You may have a better experience when you go, but ours was a nightmare.
