We came in for lunch and was blown away!! Kim and Joey were so nice and accommodating. I’ll definitely be sending people this way. You basically walk in and pick out a fish from the case and they prepare it how you like it. Fantastically fresh. The aglio e olio was drenched in delicious olive oil and nice crispy garlic. Had a nice piece of pompano with crab meat. Lovely experience!!!

Didn’t think I was going for a dinner and a show. We just so happen to sit at a table that faces the kitchen and watched the owner Kimmy yell at her chef and cuss so loud that everyone could hear it. get the F out. I also agree with the other comment about the prices of this place They are tremendously outrageous. Two glasses of Riesling wine were $30. I could’ve bought a bottle cheaper than that. Also, just like the other person mentioned we too waited an awful long time for our food and was not very impressed when we had to pay over $150 for lunch. After about 20 minutes I had to ask someone that walked by that worked there if they could get my husband an iced tea. If they don’t have a menu with a list of wines and the prices -BEWARE!!!! The staff there seemed very uneducated on how to wait on tables as Kimmy had to hand one of the waiters, a piece of paper and a pen so they could take down that tables order. I can’t say anything about the fishmarket/Joey side of this place as we did not purchase raw fish to take home after spending $150. We don’t mind paying good money for good food, but this place is not that good to write home about.

Joey and Kimmy’s was great. We purchased some frozen and fresh seafood. It was fabulous. Planned to come back for dinner, they have a small table area, but never made it. BUY the frozen truffle, walnut ravioli!! Amazing.

It’s so great to shop at a true family owned business. The staff is awesome and the products they offer even better. Great seafood, wine selection is top notch. And this is from a chef who has been around!!

Here’s what I have to say. Jimmy is fabulous. Every time I’ve walked in to just gather some quick groceries, he’s always so friendly, so awesome. LOVELY to chat with. So I decided to make a reservation for my family who were visiting. That experience wasn’t so great. The hostess didn’t have the warmness, lacked courtesy and was very matter-of-fact. Noticed she was the same with other customers. Basically, shouldn’t have the role of hostess. Maybe Jimmy should play host. The food was okay at the restaurant. Incredibly overpriced and I’ve lived in Manhattan. I’ll stick to just popping in to grab some lovely groceries and chat with Jimmy!
