We had a wonderful breakfast this morning. I had an omelet with fried potatoes and it was so yum. We also had biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and blueberry pancakes at the table and all the food was fabulous and everyone was happy with their order. The service was outstanding and even though they were busy upon our arrival we were seated right away with drinks just after ordering. The atmosphere is simple but I amazing because they have local art covering the walls and all for sale I believe. Had a great time this morning.

Environment is decent for breakfast type food, a little loud but friendly staff. First time coming so I got The Heap omelet with potatoes and toast. Potatoes were cold, you could tell they must be frozen to be so cold. Wheat toast was so cold butter didn’t melt. Omelet was okay, it was at least warm but not hot enough for any cheese to melt. Left well over half my food and went elsewhere.

Not a bad Eggs Florentine. The intensity of the tomato flavor was unique, and I very much enjoyed both the presentation of the meal itself, as well as the establishment.

Why two Stars? Because the restaurant had a fresh look and was nice and clean, and once the food came out, it was piping hot. My experience at this restaurant: our waitress didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. She had no personality. Our wait time was long, and upon receiving our food, the pancakes were basic nothing special about them. I ordered the chicken sausage breakfast taco, and I thought the chicken sausage would come inside of the taco, but nope I was wrong; it was served on the side, and it was only one chicken sausage patty for three tacos; that sucks. The chicken sausage was overloaded with too many fennel seeds. My drink was topped off towards the end of my meal which was a bummer, and it was topped off with plain tea instead of sweet tea bummer, bummer.

So, once again the wifey and I decided to enjoy a nice breakfast out. This time, at Joey’s Cafe in Edmond. Upon entering, we waited about a minute or so before being greeted and seated. Not how I would’ve preferred our experience to begin, but not the biggest deal.

I’m used to their location on May. I was so glad to hear their Bryant location opened as I live in Edmond on Bryant.

We went to Joey’s Cafe, they seated us. She asked us what we wanted to drink, we told her and no one ever came back. Other people walked in, were seated, their drink orders taken, their food orders taken and we were still sitting there. For 15 minutes. So, we left.

Great breakfast place! These blueberry pancakes were so good! My eggs are hiding under there but they were perfectly cooked as was my bacon. Our first time here but not the last.
