I went for a large pepperoni pie, and although it was a bit greasy/salty, that’s to be expected – it was still delicious. The store is clean, staff are welcoming, and I love that the head pizza maker is a black woman! I have yet to try anything else on the menu, but will soon. I do wish they had more single slice options but overall this place has great New York style pizza!

Excellent pie. I know it’s probably sacrilegious to say, but it’s a very good NY style pie. I only tried the NY style (aka New Haven style) but they also have a grandma and a Detroit. The NY was very good – nice crisp, cracked but held, great sauce and high quality cheese. The only reason I have it a 4 was because the middle was soft/floppy (wasn’t stretched with the right consistency. Overall a great pie!

There are many pizza choices within the Park Rd proximity but none of them can beat the Bronx Hot Honey Pepperoni at Joey’s. Match the pizza with the service for a delicious experience. The slices are really good too and some of them are not even on the menu. Try the hot honey pepperoni, you won’t regret it.

My first time eating in this establishment, I love the atmosphere and they are very friendly. The pizza had the crust the way I love it but the sauce or the cheese made it a little to salty for me. If they were to fix that issue they would become one of my top five pizza places to go. Being a New Yorker I’m truly picky about my pizza. Hope they get that looked into.

Joeys Pizza Pie is the ONLY pizza place I have been eating since I moved to West Hartford. Pizza is always fresh and delicious. Their sweet Asian wings have me in a choke hold. Customer service is wonderful every time I call. I order from them at least once a week. I Definitely recommend their pizza with hot peppers added to it also!

When you order extra cheese a slice of mozzarella over a slice doesn’t cut it for me, especially for what I paid for the pizza. Maybe some people like sauce pizza, now I know.
