Friendly, hometown atmosphere and delicious food! I had the hamburger steak with gravy, rice, and fried okra! Winner!

Love the food and outdoor seating area. It’s really great for us to be able to bring our kids and feel safe too.

We were just passing through the area for work. Found this little gem by word of mouth from our customer!! Food was great!! I ordered a BBQ pork plate with baked beans and potato salad. The meat was tasty and very tender. Great flavor. Both the beans and potato salad were wonderful as well. The customer service was excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a great meal from some nice folks!!

Well I have driven by many times when I work in Union Springs and finally decided to stop in to give it a try. I sat at the bar opened a tab for a beer and walked over to order dinner. I ordered wings, and peach cobbler. I ordered a local brown ale because I ain’t drinking Budweiser. The beer was really wierd and had a fruity taste and I didn’t finish it. The other darker beer was a blueberry sour, no thank you. I waited about 20-25 minutes before I got my wings and they were room temperature and over cooked at the same time. I figured they forgot it at the pass and I was starving. The peach cobbler was mushy and not great. The wings were not good but I was starving and as I was almost done eating when one of the managers came over and offered to replace my wings because “they looked burnt”. I declined because I had eaten 9 of the dozen wings and I was full, it was a very kind offer but it was about 10-15 minutes after been served. She told the bar tender to give me my beer for free. I told the bar tender that I was leaving and to close my tab and I left a few dollars tip on the counter and I had also left a few dollars tip for the food when I purchased it. Well today my bank sent me two charges from the restaurant. One for the food as expected and one for the free beer that also looked like a small tip must have been included. I think in the future I will just keep driving by. I didn’t plan to leave a review until I saw that I was charged for my free beer including a tip on top of the tip I left on the counter. I feel stupid for over tipping.

First time eating here yesterday and man it didn’t disappoint. The best burger so far I’ve had in many years. Definitely will be going back.

Awesome little BBQ Gem. Brisket and Slaw Sandwich is absolutely the best. Stopped for a quick bite and was not disappointed. Added it to my favorites list.

I like to support our local businesses but this was not good two burgers and fries and cold fries 31.00 burger was over cooked lettuce was Wilton an overcooked bacon went up to complain to show them and the person running the little restaurant they did not care listen if I don’t do a good job I want my customers to come and tell me but they clearly did not care so I’m not recommending this place
