This place is fabulous. The food is delicious. The servers and other staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Willing to help if needed. The salad bar is amazing so many options. They have a large cocktail and wine menu. Prices reasonable. The decor is old world ambience. Will visit again.

My boyfriend and I recently went for an anniversary, make sure to call ahead and join the wait list if you don’t want to wait for a while, they usually are packed. We were seated very fast, the food was okay, the grilled shrimp probably could’ve been seasoned more and the steak didn’t come out exactly how we ordered it but the salad bar was top notch, salad was fresh, so were the dressings, and they had a wide variety of everything to top it with. Probably the most eye catching one I’ve ever seen. Our waitress’s name was Rylnn, she was an amazing server. While her section was full she managed to never let either one of our drinks go empty and was always attentive of our table, needless to say we had a pretty good anniversary here at John and Nick’s and if we do come back we hope to get Rylnn again.

Our friends recommended arriving 10-minutes before opening on a Saturday evening. Boy, were we glad we followed their advice. The line formed, and we were at the front. It’s no wonder there was a line: The steaks are high quality, chef prepared morsels of goodness, and the accompanying salad bar was fantastic. Salad bars are rare these days, and this one was stocked with numerous fresh items.

Great selection of steak and the seafood essentials – salmon, scallops, and shrimp, which can be prepared a few different ways. I got bacon wrapped scallops and crab-stuffed shrimp, and I would have preferred the scallops without bacon.

I went to John and Nicks with my wife and sister who was visiting from Delaware. I bragged about the good food having eaten there once. My order was for a 12 ounce sirloin medium well with garlic mashed potatoes. When my steak arrived it looked good until I cut into it. Blood started running all over my plate and was soaking into my potatoes. The waitress walked by and said this is not medium well and said she would return it. I told her no because I do not trust chefs getting back returned food. I asked her to bag it and throw away the bloody potatoes. My dog loved the steak while I went hungry. I doubt I will go back again.

Everything is average , but the price is kind of high. The salad bar is amazing. We found a bug inside the bread, then they give us a new one.

Good value, just lacking a bit on food quality. The bread was pretty plain, the steak was huge but a lot of fat and silver skin grisle. Love the split plate option.
