Great diner , just like you would expect it to be. Everyone knows everyone, so there is a lot of local conversation going on. Great food, nice selections, good prices and hearty portions. Large menu compared to most and has daily specials that are a great value. My husband, who is very picky, raves about their Manhattan Clam Chowder, and I find the Chicken Orzo to be quite tasty as well. Closes at 3 daily, so make sure you get in by two so you can eat and enjoy your food without needing to rush. Coffee is always fresh and replenished often as they have someone circling the room with the pot in his hand so you won’t have to wait.

Solid local place. Friendly staff and owners. Great coffee, generous portions and fair prices. Added bonus is they have frozen, oven-ready meals to go for when you are too busy to cook.

My wife and I were in town for a funeral and stopped in for breakfast. Everyone was so friendly and nice. The food was very very good! The prices were also very reasonable. We highly recommended John & Sonia’s and hope to stop back in again some day.

John & Sophie have a great family run lunch in that all the workers here are happy and they all love their job never had a bad meal there used to come here with my mom and dad back in the ’80s and still go when I get a chance Great people great service great food!

This place has been a staple for my wife and I since we moved to this area. She was pregnant with our first for 3 moths and now he is 3 months old. It has been a challenge, and when we needed a good breakfast lunch or dinner, we ordered John and Sonias. Great people. The owners know us by name now. The food is diverse and always good. Never high in sodium(which my wife has to watch). All in all, this is our favorite place to eat in any of the 5 places we have lived in the past 6 years

My girlfriend and I stopped here on the way from AC to New York. The place was full of locals, which is always a good sign. We had the lobster bisque, turkey sandwich and gyros in pita bread. All of our food was really tasty!
