Johnny Boy’s is a perfect example of why you should eat at local places instead of big chains. I stopped there yesterday while I was driving through town, and got a take-out burger. (Hi, Johnny Boy! I was the white guy with one leg and a funny beard.) Service wasn’t lightning-fast but it was friendly, and my burger was huge and delicious. It was a *real* burger, not that McHardeeKing stuff. (At pretty much the same price, too!) If I go through Lancaster again, I’m going to stop at Johnny Boy’s for a full sit-down lunch. This is the kind of REAL food we used to get while traveling, before the chains took over.

First time eating here, I heard mixed reviews about this place but wanted to try them for myself. Food was good but the customer service wasn’t friendly. Walked in wasn’t greeted by the worker even though I said good morning. Didn’t ask me what I ordered just assumed a order was mine because it was sitting on the counter, even though I knew it was mine but I was expecting him to at least make sure it was mine. Didn’t tell me my total either, idk if he was having a bad day or what but today will be my first and last time eating here.

1st time trying Jonny Boys Diner, had great service, the food was awesome and served hot and quickly. They make their own breakfast sausage and it was good. I spoke with the owner and he told me that he had been there for 38 years, quite impressive.

First time eating here. I got a cheeseburger it was delicious. Also tried a piece of lemon cake that was delicious too. When I picked up my order the ladies were very nice and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Happened upon this place while walking the dog downtown, so glad I stopped in. Ordered a greasy, tasty, hefty cheeseburger and a set of super tasty fried whole wings. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in town and need a good juicy burger fix at a great price, less than $9 with fries and a struggle to finish.
