It had been along time since we moved away from any Johnny C’s and we were so happy to see one in Fairfield when attending a Convention. Well we were not disappointed, the food was great but the service was better. Do yourself a favor and ask for Rick, he made us feel like we were eating at our Italian family home. We went for the food but returned the next day for Rick’s outstanding service. Thank you for making us feel at home.

My husband and I ordered the Lemon Rosemary Chicken. The chicken was totally burnt and tough!! We spoke with the manager, Isabel, she saw that it was burnt, and asked for the chicken back so she could have the chef see and cook some more. I told her that by the time we get the chicken the rest of our food will be cold. She ignored me and had chicken cooked and brought it back to us. We left very unhappy!! She just doesn’t care about customer satisfaction!! The waitress suggested putting it in the microwave for us. If we wanted a microwave meal, we wouldn’t have gone out to eat!!

I wish I could add more than 5 stars for the magical service we received from Nathan. He was beyond kind and very attentive. I really enjoy visiting restaurants with staff like him. This guy was the definition of kind and patience. The food and drink was also excellent. Their pizza here is delicious it’s nice trying pizza outside pizza restaurants. The bread appetizer is also never a fail its always so warm and moist. The pastas were also good. Good quality food with fair prices.

I hate writing negative about businesses, but I am here to let other customers know so, the resteraunt had paint chipping off the walls, no one came to our table for at least 20 min and when we asked what was on tap she shrugged and said broken so nothing. The menu was shockingly bare with not a lot of variety. I didn’t want to hurt their feelings, so I was trying to stay, but when she brought over a wine glass with lipstick, we had to pay and get out. I would not go back. I just couldn’t do it..

When I ate at Johnny carinos in Fairfield I was surprised by the value of the meal. If you go make sure to ask about the specials because when we went we had steak lasagna Italian nachos and a salad for$16. Our server took awhile to get to us and to deliver the meal but it was worth the wait. The steak was cooked nicely and the lasagna had some nice flavors to it, even if it could have been seasoned a little bit more. The nachos were nice and Chris but with a nice little cheese on there and the salad had a really nice dressing and fresh taste.
