Wow wow wow! This place is so cute! What a vibe! The environment is very bright and inviting. The sketch glass that separates the booths is really cute.

Just wow! So unexpectedly good. If you have read any of my other reviews, you know this is my kind of place. Local diner with a wide variety on the menu. Make sure you check out the specials on the video screens. I am glad I did. The French toast ambrosia was excellent! The other photo is of the Mexican salad which is also very good because of the top shelf chili used. The service was super responsive and friendly. The dining area is large and the staff turns over tables quickly to get people seated. Clean, bright, and well worth your time to try. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. But they do it very well. I will very likey be here again sooner rather than later.

Breakfast was very tasty. All the breakfast basics are done very well here. My daughter loved her eggs and pancakes, and I enjoyed the eggs and home fries, and they even had good sausage links (so many don’t). Lots to pick from on the menu, including the lunch menu, too. Prices were also more than reasonable. Has to be the best breakfast in Spencerport.

Johnny D’s Family Restaurant, a hidden gem in New York, offers a wonderful dining experience in a warm environment. This restaurant is tucked away in a charming area and exudes a warm nostalgia that makes it the ideal setting for gathering with friends and family for a filling dinner.

Nice family diner waitress forgot silverware and menus when we sat down but no big deal. Food was good and prices are not bad at all. They have daily specials playing on a TV and they have quite a variety of food for breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately they do close at 2. Overall was a good meal for a good price and we will definitely be back again!

Very weird vibes here. I walk in, and the host just stares at me. Very strange person. Acted like an alien trying to act incponspicuous in its human flesh suit. We just stared at each-other until I took the initiative to say “Um.. a table for one…” no greeting of course, which, I don’t really care that much about that but I go to a diner for 40% the food and 60% the atmosphere. The last diner I went to had a wonderful atmosphere. People next to me were talking to me, and my waiter was smiling. Not this one. Everyone here looked like they didn’t want to be here (probably because they didn’t, this is the only diner in Spencerport), and like they were one shovelful away from a heart attack. Then, out of left field, this lady, who- quite frankly- looks like side show bob’s older sister, condescendingly says through the dredges of her smoker’s vocal cords: “hey bud, what do you want to drink?” I can’t stand when people call me buddy, especially when it’s expressly condescending. My dream of a Spencerport diner with good culture, nice people, and good food had dissolved. I promptly left as the angry hag started pouring my coffee, and went to a greek diner instead. I must say, it’s nice being treated well, smiled at, not being around people who have a bad attitude. The host here smiled at me as soon as I walked in and my waitress is an older greek lady who’s very attractive and kind. Anyways, not going back to this diner, didn’t know what I was expecting, but as usual, Spencerport let me down.
