We came for a late lunch(1pm) with brother and wife. We sat at a large booth. They have tables and smaller booths. Very clean and comfortable. Our server, Pauloj was quick to greet us and take drink order. We heard they had great steaks. Well the 4 of us ordered steaks. The salads, delicious. The Ribeyes, garlic mashed, asparagus or brussel sprouts with toast. All fantastic. Our server Pauloj checked on us often, keeping drinks full. The bloody Mary had a piece of bacon, cheese curd, pickle and generous shot of beer. Paulo was only server and kudos on the great service. Can’t wait to come back.

This restaurant was an interesting experience. There was not a lot happening when we arrived. The server helping us was nice. In the group I was with, we all got the burger basket. The French fries were pretty tasty. The burger itself was good, but the toppings left more to be desired. Bathroom was below average. The parking lot was large enough. There is a bar to sit at as well as tables and booths. It’s in a nice location.

Amazing Johnny Burger it was huge and the crispy chicken sandwich was excellent both came out piping hot! Also, great fries and waffle fries! Waiter was at our table immediately to take our drink order! Sadly, as mentioned in other reviews, there’s not much for ambiance and we noticed a ‘musty’ smell when we walked in? Old building? Previous occupant odors? Jazz it up Johnny and advertise more so people know you’re here (only 10 customers at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday?) we’ll come back.

Don’t sleep on this spot. It looks unassuming but the food is top notch. Steaks were perfectly cooked to order and very well seasoned, and the pan seared walleye was delicious. Skip fries and go for rice as a side instead. They have a modest draught beer selection but good options, and pull tabs available as well! It was oddly quiet when we first walked in but they eventually turned the music up. Overall a surprisingly great experience and will definitely be going back when in town.

First time visitors today, and the foods was amazing and so was the service. Jason welcomed my family and I with a smile and great knowledge of the menu. Everything we ordered was hot fresh and very delicious. Can’t wait to come again. Great Job Guys.

First time at this restaurant. Food was good, but all was lacking seasoning. I had the chicken Caesar salad, and the chicken had no flavor at all. The salad itself was very good. Hubby had the walleye sandwich and fries, which also needed salt, but was good. There weren’t many people in there because it just opened for the day, so service was good. We will be back again to try other menu items.

Our server was nice. But he didn’t seem overly knowledgeable about the menu, and not very attentive. The prices were good. I liked my burger and fries, but the rest of the group wasn’t interested in coming back. I would like to try more things, and form a more solid opinion of Johnny Kitchen.

We were real impressed! Real nice place. I had the ribeye sandwich and it was wonderful. Big enough that my wife and I could’ve split it. It was done perfectly tender and one of the best ones I’ve ever had. My wife had chicken, penne pasta and said it was just perfect. The chicken was just perfect. Great service. This place really, really needs to advertise more and let people know it’s there. It’s only been there a few months I guess but people should really try it.

Went on a Monday night. Place was very quiet. There was one person serving, no bartender. Ordered the seafood dinner described as: Red Snapper and 4 butterflied shrimp with rice pilaf and vegetables. The Snapper was fine. There was no rice pilaf, just plain sticky white rice. The shrimp were small with little flavor, and not butterflied. The menu was misleading. Disappointing. No ambiance and the music was loud and not relaxing. Others in our party were happy with their Walleye sandwiches. We would give them another try but be honest about what you are serving!
