Small, quaint, bar nestled in the heart of downtown Mercer. The bar has recently been purchased by a new owner and they’ve gone out of their way to transform it into something great. The food menu is small but the food we ate was delicious. I had “Da” Cheese Louise which consisted of 2 smash burgers with bacon and beer cheese and my wife had the grilled cheese burger. Both were served with fresh cut French fries and were delicious. Avery ( the owner) was very hospitable and quick to answer any question we had. The drinks were both affordable and poured well. I had a Jamison Orange old fashion and my wife a captain and diet. I can honestly say it was one of the best drinks I’ve had and enjoyed my time there immensely. The bar itself could use a little updating based on the sparse decorations and limited table seating. However, I’m excited to see what the future holds for them and will definitely return in the near future.

Sorry to say I hate to give this place 1 star but really wanted to warn people of the worst experience I’ve ever had. Wish I would have taken pictures but was too embarrassed. Ordered Italian beef uneditable bread was so hard could have broken a window meat looked green, also order meatball sub bread tasted moldy ate a couple meatballs tasted ok. Hope I don’t get sick 1-15-23. I was too embarrassed for the waitress to complain. 39.00 waisted

Don’t pass this place by. Service is top notch – even when they’re busy during a Sunday lunch hour in late July, they still make you feel welcomed. For appetizers we had the onion rings and fried cheese curds and they were a hit. Give them a shot. Burgers are fresh, never frozen and cooked to order. The teriyaki beef sandwich is sweet and savory, with tender slices of beef. Also, generous portions all around. We will be back!

No doubt about it! Probably one of the best and honest fish frys I have had in northern Wisco. There are ways to substitute quality, which you will not find here. Great meal and I will be returning. Get here early as you will notice the number of peeps who also know about this great place.

Good food and reasonable prices in general. The burger’s and fries are really good and it can get rather crowded at peak hours. The hot dogs are also delicious and they give plenty of fries. I’ve been there when it’s a little bit noisy but the food is good and the place frequently has a waiting line for food orders because the locals heavily support the Bar & Grill. You can park in the parking lot for a carry out order…or you can call ahead to place your order. Check it out
