Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! As a Chicago foodie, I was thoroughly impressed. Had the eggs benny, lemon ricotta pancakes, and their fresh squeezed orange juice (juice was fire). The benny was amazing. The pancakes definitely stole the show. To top off the food experience, the staff was super sweet and welcoming. If you’re in Half Moon Bay, go to Johnny’s!!!

Cute place. Loud inside. I got the breakfast bowl. It came with a bed of rice, shitaki mushrooms, spinach, fresh radish, avocado, egg, and fried potatoes. These veggies were boiled, so no flavor to it. Very clean dish if you don’t count the fried potatoes. I wish there were 2 eggs for this dish. The rice was not impressive. Lack of flavor & overcooked. Most people had a burger or some fried food. Maybe that is the go-to choice.

Good food, but limited menu. The bacon was wonderfully thick and the eggs were properly cooked to specifications. The house potatoes were delicious and crispy, definitely a favorite. For families with young kids, as of writing this, they do not have high chairs or children’s seats. They are still getting set up, but a very strong start.

They just opened so it was really busy and the staff are still getting the hang of things but the food was really good and the atmosphere is great. Be prepared for about a 10 minute wait on the weekend to get a table.
