Great restaurant, with the best fettuccine pasta in town. I added a salmon and it was super tasty! Friendly staff, nice decorations and perfect location with plenty of parking spots to park your car. Enjoy the potato soup, it was really good too.

I recently dined at here with my wife and found the experience completely disappointing. Knowing ahead of time this was a hotel restaurant, we still expected a little better. While the service was friendly, it lacked efficient quality. The food however is where this place falls completely off the rails. My wife’s pasta and shrimp dish presented a completely inedible combination of flavors which we could not place, and the stuffed shrimp were so very far from appetizing. My salmon arrived cold, along with the room temperature mashed potatoes. I have no confidence that this food was even cooked the same day. This disregard for food quality and presentation is surprising, considering the restaurant’s attempt to project itself as more than average. With such culinary mishaps, it’s perplexing how JIS has managed to maintain a rating beyond 1-2 stars. We left without eating. Our bill was unsettlingly high given the disappointment. At these prices, expect more.

1st visit debated on rating star but they placed 2 separate pieces of toast SCORCHED side down on 2 different salads. Deliberately serving 2 pieces of bread that were so easily fixable just is beyond lazy and disappointing. Some of the sides were quite good, steaks were overcooked. The only reason they did not fall to 1 star is there seem to be some good ideas and flavor. Just horribly lazy tonight. A shame to visit from out of town, chose to spend an evening and have a such a disappointment.

Long wait to be seated and then rudely. Service was slow and not very professional. My wife and I’s Entree’s were so salty they were inedible. Risotto was tasteless. Calamari you could taste the oil, Bruschetta the bread was so hard I thought it was served on large croutons. Maybe it was an off night but I would give it less stars if possible. Bread and salads were good but that doesn’t make a meal. This was our Valentine dinner and we left hungry, disappointed and with high blood pressure off of a bite. Will not try here again!!!

Loved eating here! Had a very friendly greeting from the front desk right as you walk in! We had an amazing waiter named Steve. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and showed the best options. My favorite was the dessert, the coconut waffers and ice cream with chocolate all combined made a never forgetting taste. Hopefully we can have another experience like this soon!

This was my first time trying this place, came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday and this is a really cool place. Has a great look on the inside the food was great, everything came out quickly and accurately. The bartender Omar was really awesome, special shout out to him for making our first dinning experience a really fun one. Also the man really makes a great old fashioned. Absolutely coming back.

I came in to dine with Kandi. She’s a Bartender. I had the shrimp cocktail, the horseradish crusted NY Strip with the garlic mashed potatoes and some Kentucky Bourbon Barrel on draft. The food was magnificent. Kandi always delivers impeccable service and the atmosphere was modern and sexy. I will be back for the Ribeye!!! Thanks Kandi for a great recommendation.

Had reservation for friend’s 45th birthday who drove up from Lexington, KY. Restaurant came highly recommended. Called ahead because we were running 5 minutes late. We waited 15 minutes at the entrance and had to ask a waiter if we could set down. Waited another 20 minutes as the servers bussed tables to be served. When we asked what was going on the server said there were only two staff. On a Saturday night. It made it worse that they could have told us this when we called ahead. We left the restaurant and will never return.

Was there tonight … Not very many people dining … quick seating… 5 mins for water and bread …. 15 mins later we left because of no server. If your going to charge $50 a plate you probably should be tops in service. We offered to pay for the bread and left.
