joined a group after baseball @ Creekside. Johnny’s staff was extremely accommodating for a larger group and the servers handled it all very well. typically it becomes chaotic when players/ parents are separated for team lunches, but the staff was terrific! food was great! restaurant was clean and well run! thank you

This place is in a good location, convenient to our neighborhood, but I’m not a drinker and just really don’t care much for the food. Meats — burgers — look pretty but are not char grilled and that’s an immediate turn off for me. The sweet potato fries are ok. I think if I drank alcohol I might have a better review as that seems to be a big draw there.

Absolute great place. These guys have all the TVs. Every game possible was on the screen. Service was awesome. Jessica F took care of us and did an outstanding job taking care of us. You should ask for her she is a solid waitress. Food was of the chain and drinks were great. Can’t wait to move into the neighborhood in a couple weeks and go every week. Pizza was very good and macaroni is served in pounds! This is a highly recommended place. Cool people eat here!!!!

Johnnys is fun for KC Chiefs games- 2 years ago it was consistently great. Now it’s fair and a decent place to stop for a quick drink. Appetizer menu is limited, burgers are ok and pizza isn’t bad.

The atmosphere and food is great. Also, I love buffalo style food but it is always hot or miss because the balance between the hot sauce and Bleu cheese is hard to get right since both are very strong flavors. I tried out their buffalo dip and it was amazing. I ordered the BBQ which was great but after that dip I really wanted to try their buffalo pizza.

Typical bar and grill atmosphere. Similar to buffalo wild wings. The food is pretty good. Service is slow. I’ve tried the nashville hot chicken and a burger. Pizzas are pretty good too. Cheese curds seemed to have been cooked in some rather old oil, or they fry them with everything else so the taste was a little off. The pretzel was almost inedible due to it hardness/texture and the cheese it was served with was cold and coagulated. The other dip was honey mustard and it just didn’t taste good to me with the pretzel I’d go back.

This was my first visit to Johnny’s. Your standard sports bar, each booth has its own small TV, adding to the glow of the other big screens surrounding each dining area. The menu is also par for the course with its usual bar fare, including burgers, wings, salads, sandwiches, and all the fried stuff. They had $5 chips and queso when I was there, and it was decent. I enjoyed the place and had no complaints, and may return one day if I’m in the neighborhood. They do have 32oz beers, so there’s one incentive!

A friend and I decided to have dinner here a couple of weeks ago… First impression… seemed very dirty, trash all over the floor, the table we were taken to was not sticky, clearly not wiped off. The server was bubbly and charismatic, overall decent server. We get our meals… I was told “the wings were a must try” so I got some… BAD IDEA! Took a bite into very raw chicken… Killed the whole experience for me… Appetite gone… Sent the plate back, and ended the meal. I wasn’t charged for my meal. Wouldn’t recommend.

I can not understand how this place gets good food reviews. Our second time to try it and no better. If you are a fan of over microwaved and fried low quality food-service delivered items – some burnt to a crisp, hard and non edible (French Dip, Pork Tenderloin, Fish & Chips, Burnt Ends dinner) and Bone-in Wings with zero visible sauce or flavor (Mgr claims they dipped them twice), then this might be your place.

Convenient place to grab a bite to eat if you don’t want to cook – lists as dog friendly, however this is not the case for the Parkville location even if nobody is on the patio and its near empty inside. Some good, some bad – I used to go here regularly and always tip over 20%, but not sure anymore, pretty inconsistent service and food
