2 time eating here food was amazing!!!! But it’s really dirty I have a baby and I would NEVER PLACE in this chair. The chairs are nasty looking/walls floors . I am shocked about how good the food was . And why are they blocking off where they make the food with cardboard? Interesting!

Best Italian hoagie (pic) in town. Really. Take a look at the picture up. Close. That stuff that looks kind of weird smeared all over the sandwich. It was actually their homemade crushed parmesan in oil spread. It really sets this sandwich apart from their competitors.

The staff was very friendly and more importantly the food was good. The food tasted home made, if that makes sense. the ingredients were fresh, the food was flavorful, and it was an easy and painless experience. i highly recommend this place for any meal.

I love the Italian cold cuts from johns, they have to be hands down the best cold cut I’ve ever had this is why I don’t mind spending $52.00 for 3 cold cuts and a bag of chips. I went here Friday and I live in Pasadena so it’s not around the corner for me but well worth the wait and drive. But I must say I was disappointed with my sub this time. Something changed and I think it may be the sub rolls them selves since the last time here about 8 months ago due to my move to Pasadena from living down by the 711. I only say this because after eating 1st half for lunch it was just ok but 7hrs later I had the other half and the sub roll was so soggy that it wasn’t edible to me. No I didn’t put the oil and vinegar on it I waited until I was gonna eat it later. I will still go back for my sub again but just hope maybe it will be different and fantastic like it used to be.

Was my first and will be my last time ever going. Took the family out to eat and customer service was horrible. My uncle waited on his food over 30 minutes. A couple that came in after we ordered and they ordered hot food was served their food before he received his. The old lady at the register got smart and stated he was in a rush and we were eating in. Customer service was awefull. My uncle asked for his money back and the old lady at the register stated she didn’t want him in there. We were not loud or anything just wanted to experience the food. The fact that a couple could come in after we have paid and were already waiting and for them to order hot food and receive there food before he did and he had a cold sub is unacceptable. John’s Italian Deli you really need to work on your customer service skills and the fact that no one wanted to listen to him was heart felt. Will make it my business to never send anyone there.

Short delivery range due to contracted delivery. Notified to used doordash which for just the pizza cost double, due to price increase on app from hidden fees. Tried pizza and was honestly surprised that the store has 4.4 stars. The pizza was not good due to sauce and crust. Flavor taste like it was canned. Will try other foods but will avoid the pizza unless I hear about a change in sauce. Recommend trying hilltop carryout on fort Avenue for a good pizza. Message directly for further recommendations. Agent on phone said contracted delivery. Reply to the owner. Doing something for 40 years doesn’t mean it’s great, I think it’s time to change the recipe.

I had a horrible experience with Doordash once again. The dasher delivered the wrong order and wasn’t willing to help even though I contacted him before he left my street. BUt! A very pleasant gentleman by the name of Shane at John’s was on top of it. By the time I called he was already on the phone with Doordash and offered a variety of options. The way he handled my distress impressed me more than the food. Ultimately the food was great.

John’s Big Italian Cold Cut! This sub is a game changer. When they say big, they mean big. You can barely close this sub but the amount of flavor is explosive. I’m a big onion fan and this thing doesn’t disappoint. The cheese steak is also great, salads are huge and filling. This place has everything you’d ever need from a local sub/pizza shop. I’ve never been let down here. The price is mid range but it’s all worth it.
