John’s Pizza is a New York institution, serving up classic coal-fired pizzas since 1929. The pizzas are made with simple ingredients, but they are executed to perfection. The crust is thin and crispy, the sauce is tangy and flavorful, and the cheese is gooey and melted. John’s is a bit of a New York legend, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the West Village. If you’re looking for a delicious and authentic New York pizza experience, I highly recommend John’s Pizza. It’s a locals favorite, and everyone is glad they went to eat at John’s.

This pizza restaurant is one of the best I have ever visited . Truly great. No reservation but line moves quickly. Pizza was perfect. The crust is so tasty. Really nice servive (fast) and the pizza came really fast. If you travel to NY, this one is a must.

A long time spot on my Pizza Bucket List, I came in with my expectations at an all-time high. I even bought a shirt from the place before getting my pizza.

I’m a life long New Yorker for 40+ years and this is no doubt top 3 anywhere. From all the social media, Youtubers, local reviews and articles about this famous pizzeria, they all true. It’s that freaking good.

Don’t need to say much about this place. Hands down one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Waited around 15 minutes to get into the restaurant but it was well worth the wait. Anyone looking for good pizza in New York, this is the place. Photos of all the celebrities who have visited posted around the walls. Good to know that Bruce ‘The Boss’ Springstein also approved.

John’s was the best pizza we found, hands down. Not a slice place, but plenty of size pies to choose from. Our whole group agreed, best pizza we’ve ever had.

The best pizza we ate in NYC!! Not even a competition. I know everyone is super particular about the type of crust they love, but I was a HUGE fan of the thin, softer crust at John’s. We ordered ‘The Boom’ and the only thing I would have changed is to add mozzarella cheese instead of only ricotta. So so mouth watering good though!

We were in NYC for an anniversary trip and John’s was on our agenda. When we arrived, the place was full but after a short wait we were seated and within maybe 10 minutes we were working our way through maybe the best pizza we’d ever had. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was everything we hoped for. We will go back absolutely if we get the chance.

Stopped by later on a Friday night and were able to sit immediately. We ordered a medium margherita and it was the right amount of food for two people. Solid pizza option but maybe not somewhere I’d go out of my way for.

Really delicious pizza! We got half and half all cheese and Margarita. Good portions and good price. The seats and space are a little small though so be prepared to squeeze through the place.
