I’ve been eating Johnson Brothers BBQ since January 2020. I went in early in the morning to sample the food. My baby shower was coming up, and I wanted bbq. I never was able to hire them for that due to the pandemic that hit us a couple of weeks later. No worries, they made a customer for life. I absolutely love their tri tip! My babies love it too. I suggest ordering your food by phone so you won’t have to deal with them being out of something and waiting. The chicken is smoked and juicy. The ribs are finger licking good, and the links have the perfect amount of flavor. Yams and Mac and cheese, yes, please. I normally get their mild bbq sauce because of my kids, but at times, I order a side of the spicy sauce. It has the right amount of burn and flavor. A great staple to the city of Compton! Delicious! I wanted some really good ribs for my birthday and my husband found this place near our house. They are the best ribs I have tried! I bought the house special and wow it was a lot of food for $75. In other places $75 will not get you a lot now days. The service was awesome! Our cashier Teddy was the best. He made sure we got the best service. We will definitely go again when we have a gathering.

I ordered a Hot Link/Rib tip Dinner Potato Salad and Bake Beans. I order online, and when I pick up my order, I was given 2 whole links not cut, and two orders of salad. I went back to the window and was told he did not have any beans, and that he called me (I did not have a miss call) but did not get an answer just gave me two of what I ordered. He thought that the delivery service was coming to get the order. I asked for my link to be cut up and some bread.

First of all, it’s maybe been a year since I was last here. I can’t even remember why its been so long, but today reminded of the first time I came. The meat was so well seasoned and I could tell it was fresh because the sauce was on the side. I had to stop myself from being too greedy.

We just finished our order from here that we had delivered. Oh my goodness!!!!! Very very good. Had brisket dinner. Which was more than enough for the 2 of us. And the specialty fries. Man they were good. We will order from when ever we are in carson. I highly highly recommend

Went back today to get rib tips, and they were out. I got the rib plate and wasn’t happy. My ribs were tough, too much bbq sauce, i didn’t like the beans, and mac and cheese was bland to me. I dont know what happened. Maybe new cooks, i have no clue. *cries * Will i be back? I’m not sure
