I’m new to Virginia and this is the best barbeque I’ve had in a long while! Really good pit smoked pork ribs super tender! Sides are a bit small (condiment cups) collard greens and potato salad probably store bought both good tho.

Just tried this take-out BBQ spot for the first time. The ribs were fall-of-the-bone good! The potato salad was flavorful and oh so tasty! Meals are only $12, so a pretty fair price for the amount of food. Plus the staff was all very friendly and generous. They don’t take cards so bring your cash, and be sure to check out all the awards and trophies lining the walls while you order!

Ok…..just ban me from this place…..♥️♥️♥️♥️the juicy, plump, mouthwatering ribssssss. OMG! The sauce , A-MazE-INGGG. The Cole slaw…. Ooooo, creamy and crunchy super good. They have the Mac and cheese back…. .you won’t be disappointed. They are using Covid guidelines, so it’s just carry out. Just as long as it is open. I’ll wear a paper bag…..just gimme the ribs… . Price is very fair…..Nice and friendly staff.

Driven past this place and smelled it a thousand times and either had already ate or didn’t have time to stop. Today we finally got to stop in and try it. Right now it is take out only, so we ordered our food and waited in the car in the a/c. Very reasonably priced for quality bbq. Wife and kids each got a large pulled pork sammy, and I got a regular pulled pork and a regular brisket sammys. We also got a couple of sides of fries to share. Everything was delicious! The brisket sandwich was very juicy, not dried out at all like a lot of other places brisket. The pulled pork was great as well. The BBQ sauce they use is a western carolina style sweet tomato based. The staff was very friendly. Only issue was after we got home we realized that they forgot my wife’s potato salad she ordered. But she is cursed and only her food gets messed up everywhere we go, so we chocked that up to the curse. Cash or CashApp only. Highly recommend!!!

I go there maybe ever three to five months to eat a great BBQ but today I ordered 2 Ribs dinner…. Man the mount was so small I though they had made a mistake and gave me lunch amount.. lol… Ribs was over cooked and dry so I asked for extra BBQ to not to offend them but it’s will be a long time or maybe never going back… see photo for yourself, Rob black over cooked, it was hard to it…. It’s just seating there.. lol

Had them at the Columbus jazz and Ribs fest. Ribs are just ok, definitely not fall off the bone not very meaty and kind of tough with average sauce. Beans and slaw were preprepared GFS made. Cornbread was burnt. Greens we’re good. Definitely not worth $32..

Super friendly staff. Very quick service. “Best Sauce” Trophies all over the restaurant and for a reason. It’s exactly what you would imagine a bbq sauce is supposed to taste like. Pork is tender and juicy. Coke slaw is well balanced. Baked beans are delicious. Fries aren’t terrible but not great. And for $11 it’s a hell of a meal. ONLY reason I gave 4 stars is because of the fries and that they only take cash which isn’t an issue but I hardly carry cash so I had to hit an atm. But now I know for future reference because I most certainly will be going back.

Ordered bbq pork plate w Collards baked beans and sweet tea. Food was good…they use a red sauce and it is good. Serving size is moderate but fulfilling. I also ordered brisket sandwich and it was good. The host was friendly. Beware this a cash only payment.
