Such an amazing find while out on a motorcycle trip. They were very busy when I arrived but staff was doing a great job keeping the line flowing. A word of advice, when ordering ice cream, get a small. The small at Johnson’s would be a triple giant at any other place. What a great value for the price. Love it!

Found a dead ant in my onion rings after a couple bites of my dinner. Brought it to our waiters attention. She brought it into the kitchen asked the kid on the fried station about it. (We could see through the window on swinging kitchen door.) Came back out and told us it was a crumb from the friolator. It was not. I didn’t eat my dinner except for maybe two onion rings and a haddock nugget before I found the ant. The server didn’t ask if I’d like to order anything else instead, or offer to touch bases with the manager.

The food we had for lunch was amazing. We both had crab stuffing with fresh baked haddock. The smaller portion was lunch size, but my husband opted for the dinner size for $4 more and twice as much portion. He also had the onion rings that were so plentiful and tasty. There was an up charge of $3 for them but OMG the portion was incredible.

We were driving by and ordered take out from snack bar area…to take and drive and eat. Big Mistake !!! 1. the bill for 3 burgers and 1 wrap…. no drinks $80+ dollars. The buns all burnt and blackened, not toasty… burnt. The fries were very stingy in portions and same fryer oil as seafood… some taste there. The bags of ketchup had been prev handled and used as all sticky with ketchup residue.

Just spent $75.00 on dry seafood and other food. Haddock and scallops doesn’t even taste like it. My son has buffalo tenders and said they were awful even after adding more hit sauce. “Hard to eat “he said. I lived in Northwood and ate at that Johnsons all the time. Not at all happy with New Durrum. Asked if they put tarter sauce in the bag…The girl had no idea. No one came back to the window after we picked up the food. Couldn’t get any help after I paid. I don’t know why I even tipped them. Never again will I go back. Yuck.

I ordered 4 of the kiddie ice creams to go, for $22. The girl brought out the first one in this cup scooped up over the top. When I asked for a lid she scraped off half of the ice cream

Went a few days ago. Server was young and looked like she was just going through the motions. Service was slow as well. I got the flatbread pizza on special. Absolutely awful. Cheese was under cooked and mostly cheddar. And the pizza was cold in the center. My wife’s tips were way over cooked. Server never asked how we liked our meal or why I only took one bite of mine. Not impressed won’t be back.

Was really dis appointed with the lobster salad $28 for 4 bites of lobster. Fishermans platter all frozen food. no whole belly clams. The service was good but food gone down price gone up. Properly not going back

I only get to Johnsons 4 or 5 times a year. Always great service. The food comes out fast and hot. I highly recommend Johnsons Seafood. It never disappoints. Don’t forget to get some of their fresh whoppie pies and cookies. Also attached is a takeout window for some delicious Ice Cream treats. On this trip I enjoyed the Bourbon Salmon tips with butternut squash, rolls, and French fries. The Salmon tips were delicious.
