When you think of small town family restaurants, this is the way they should be…

I was most pleasantly surprised by the small town atmosphere, the elderly gentlemen doing their morning breakfast & coffee with friendly banter was most interesting to watch and overhear.

Great little family restaurant with the basics. Breakfast is the bigger menu item, but the burger I had was delicious! It’s also from the local butcher so it’s nice to know it’s locally sourced! The French toast is also beautiful & yummy!

Delicious French Toast. Friendly staff & reasonable prices. I would definitely eat here again if I was passing through town.

This used to be a homey diner with low, incandescent lighting and cozy booths. Now it’s nothing but someone trying to make a political statement on every surface in the restaurant, and it’s clear that everyone is sick of it, and it deserves to be closed.

Had the everything omelette and it was great, home fries had good seasoning and the biscuits and gravy were good.

Long wait times for the food to arrive, make sure you have the time to wait. We tried to eat breakfast on 6/19, after 50 minutes, we still did not have our breakfast. Looking around the room neither did anyone else. Then the table next to us, who ordered after we did, received their order and it was completely wrong. The waitress took it back to the kitchen, the chef began to recook their order. We did leave without eating, as we had an appointment and could not wait any longer. We paid for our drinks and tipped our waitress. We definitely noticed the freshly cleaned and painted interior. We will try to have breakfast here again in a few months.

Food was good but was not greeted initially. Told to seat ourselves. Sat at a dirty table (they were all dirty), young girl came up to get our drink order and wasn’t going to clean our table. Had to ask her for a towel. She cleaned the table, got our drink orders but didn’t introduce herself to us at all. Couldn’t tell you her name. I asked if the chicken was crispy or grilled, couldn’t even tell me. I said crispy if you have it. Then the person cooking had to come ask me if I wanted crispy or grilled. No one is happy to be here. Very rude and short staff. They don’t even talk to each other. Didn’t offer refills, napkins or silverware. Gave us the bill and didn’t even say thank you, come again, whatever. Won’t be back.

Service was good. I don’t know what the reviews are about such a great burger. This was a standard thin burger on white bun. The burger was overly cooked, they didn’t even ask how I wanted it cooked.
