My friend and I visited Joji on a Thursday night after visiting Hiroki in Philly and Nobu Downtown in NYC. We wanted to better discern between high quality Omakase and lower price-point Omakase, which brought us here. The atmosphere was clean, welcoming, and contemporary. The food was amazing, each course being different than the last, and the flavor profiles were particularly unique. So far this has been the best Omakase between Philly and NYC. Highly recommend, and the staff was wonderful and accommodating! Food was otherworldly!

This is for the takeout joji box in grand central. It is high quality takeout for sure. It’s expensive yes but it was fair given the usual price of omakase and the quality of the food. I got the omakase to go which was well packaged and nice. The bbq tuna roll was new to me. Wasn’t my favorite but jm glad I had it. The eel cucumber was good as well

This is truly a bucket list experience and one worth splurging on. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance and care of the staff was paramount. The chef George was personable and highly skilled. It was like we were watching the Van Gough of food. He was not pushy at all with dietary restrictions, but gently encouraged me to try some new foods and I LOVED THEM! Thanks George! Definitely a special occasion place and love how they give you the menu you ate at the end of the night. Hoping to return again for another out of this world experience, as I fear that all other sushi has now been ruined because this was so good!

Dinner here is an experience. Hidden underground and perfectly lit. Food is top notch, elite level omakase and all the chefs bring a friendly atmosphere. Price is high but absolutely worth it.

Superb. The service was outstanding, and the entire experience was so enjoyable. The staff, down to every member, was so professional yet friendly and had such attention to detail. We had the private room with chef TK, Shao and Matt – they were such a delight, the food was spectacular and beautifully presented. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a intimate conversation in any restaurant as I did here, so it made it super memorable.
