I decided to try out this new food court they built at the Burger King on Shady Grove Road (right by the 355 intersection) They now have JoJo’s Express where you can get steak, salmon, crab cakes and cream of crab soup, I got the crab cake, green beans and mashed potatoes from JoJo’s with Passion Fruit Sweet Tea. The crab cake was all lump crab meat and it was seasoned well. It was delicious, I was pleasantly surprised that it was this good. They gave me huge servings of the green beans and mashed potatoes. The green beans were seasoned well and nice and buttery. The mashed potatoes were creamy, smooth and tasty. I would have added more garlic and pepper to them but I’m a spice fiend lol. Overall it was a great deal for only $17. I highly recommend JoJo’s Express.

We just left this place and their Crabcake sandwich jut reached an all time low. It wasn’t tasty like it use to be. There was more filler then usual and way to many onions! Who puts onions in a crabcake awful! I want to taste crab meat not onions. Whomever changed the way they arr made messed up. I use to go there for them, but I will not return!!

First off… the workers Low energy I gave them a try still was I’m the mood for beef… ordered there steak mash potatoes with rice… received a piece of meat so small my 5 year old son found it Comical to say the least… basically cafeteria food with mediocre meat unfortunately… 1st time and last time

very interesting new set up. feels like a mini food court on the inside. The 3 restaurants are distinct. they have different closing times with JoJo closing at 9, Burger King at 1, and per the staff the pizza place closes when they feel like it. While we watched it was around 8:30. The fried chicken at JoJo’s was fine, but not exceptional. mashed potatoes were pretty good. The staff were very nice and professional.

Jojo’s express staff is very pleasant and welcoming: the one star is for them. However the steak dish is awful. You pay over 25$ for a product that is flavorless and so soft that you can assume that they have soaked a very low quality meat in sparkling water to get to this result. I asked for medium rare, but of course the way they seem to condition the meat couldn’t possibly achieve a medium rare steak. I will not even bother nor dare trying the rest of the menu. No thank you! I’ll gladly pass

Got the filet mignon with 2 sides. Ordered it as medium-rare. It was about 10-15 min of waiting. More medium but that’s ok. Filet mignon was truly indeed tender to cut with a plastic knife as advertised. The green beans and rice was well seasoned and flavored. It’s only a 6-7oz but heck it’s beats paying $50+ at a restaurant. 10/10 pretty darn delicious.
