We drove up from Corvallis to try just this place. We got the pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese, and the baked beans. Ordered right when the place opened and had our food maybe ten minutes later, fantastic turnaround time. The mac and cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had and the pulled pork was delicious! Go check this place out!!

I was really impressed with the food here. I ordered the Monday special and for $25 I received three large fried drumsticks, two pieces of corn on the cob, and huge portions of green beans, spaghetti, and cornbread.

I have been meaning to come out and try this place for over a year now, but just never could make the time! The food is amazing! My family is from Tennessee so I love good bbq and this is some of the best I’ve had–ANYWHERE! The greens were cooked to perfection–hint of sweet and salty, and absolutely delicious! I told the owner “better than my Nannie used to make!” The rest of the sides (Hawaiian baked beans, cornbread and mac & cheese were a perfect complement to the main event–those ribs! Tender, perfectly cooked with the right amount of bark, and lightly brushed with a smoky bbq sauce. I can’t say enough good about it. To top it off, the owner is very gracious and kind, and obviously knows his craft! My only regret is waiting so long to try it! Definitely going back soon

Catfish and collard greens are lights out good. Best catfish I’ve had since Papa’s Soul Food closed in Eugene. Catfish doesn’t even need sauce. Moist, yet flaky and seasoned perfectly. Collard greens can be described in one word…Perfection. Portions are very large. Walked away with a case of the Southern style meat sweats and the beginning stages of a mini food coma. I’ll definitely be back again.
