My favorite fried chicken chain. Located in the Waipahu Seafood City. Very busy during the lunch and dinner hours, but wait time isn’t very long. We seem to always find seating, but we order to go just in case. Take advantage of the app and order ahead if time is an issue.

2/15/2022 I was excited because it was over 2 years since I had Jollibee. We went shopping at Seafood City and decided to pick up lunch. They had an employee holding the door open outside and watching the line due to covid protocol of not letting too many people inside the ordering area at once. Hubby ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combo with fries and a drink and he ordered me a two-piece Chicken Joy combo with spaghetti and a drink. The employee was friendly and our take out order was made quickly. However, when we got home and I opened my meal it had rice and gravy instead of spaghetti. I had been looking forward to the spaghetti so I was disappointed but of course the chicken is always good and so is the gravy. Hubby enjoyed his chicken sandwich and shared his fries with me. It was as delicious as I remembered. When I looked at the receipt it did say steamed rice as the side but I was right beside him when he ordered spaghetti. Four stars only due to receiving the wrong order.

Meal prices always soaring high but standards are always low. All should be reprimanded at this Waipahu location for not maintaining standards. Putting chickens inside a regular lunch plate box instead of a jollibee bucket is really dissappointing. Food taste is good that’s why I gave another star but if only could put zero for mgt allowing this kind of service which is truly a shameful act of traditional Pinoy mindset….

This place has gross food. Went to the one near Kamakana Ali mall and the chicken in my sandwhich was not cooked all the way. I brought it to the manager and she gladly had me another one made. The fries were old and some were hot so that was also gross.

I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I tried their 2 pc chicken option and it was not what I expected. Also, their spicy chicken sandwich It was only spicy because it had slices of jalapeños on top of the chicken. For me it wasn’t satisfying and it felt as if it lacked flavor and personality. The fries lost what little spunk they had within about 10-15 mins after we left the restaurant and they were no longer fun to be around. The pineapple quencher was ok. It tasted as if pineapple was about 5th on the list of ingredients when formulated the recipe.

I love me some Jollibee. Their chicken is always crispy and juicy. I prefer to get the chicken spicy as it adds even more flavor, while not being too spicy. Their gravy is so good that you can drink it. Everything they have is pretty good. The only thing I wasn’t fond of is their spaghetti. It does not taste like the spaghetti at Philippines, but it is still good. It’s always a good time at Jollibee.

I would crave for Chicken Joy and Jolly Spaghetti once in a while, and this branch is my go to place. Recently though, we keep on getting disappointed with the quality of the fried chicken. It just does not taste the same. It seems that it was just directly thawed out, rolled in breading and dunk fried it. The meat is tasteless and watery, not juicy and not tasty. Please, please, check the food quality always. It’s been a hit or miss at this place.

I ordered rice with two chicken joy for my friend which is correct and I ordered palabok with two chicken joy for myself which is incorrect. What did I get? Spaghetti with chicken joy. I was already far gone when I realized they gave me the wrong order and it was already late so what did I do? Tossed it!
