We went for the first time last night. They were BUSY!! We sat ourselves at an available and clean table. Then we were greeted by our server, Cara. The food was hot and fresh and delivered promptly. Those hickory fries alone were enough to make me return! But then the fried green tomatoes… They’re absolutely amazing! It took me to childhood watching grandpa make them in the kitchen of his double wide! We will absolutely be returning

I went up there with my mother here for lunch. The waitress was really nice and friendly( I don’t remember her name) and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. The food was really good too. We got fried green tomatoes cut thin and fried extra crispy, they were so good. She got a cheeseburger with fries and a salad(she didn’t want me taking pics of her food). I got the large cheeseburger with add bacon, half order of hickory fries and fried okra. We really enjoyed being there and if I didn’t live 30min away, I would go there more often.

I like BBQ to have flavor and not need sauce. The brisket came out slathered in sweet sauce. That’s all you could taste. When I got a piece without sauce it was pretty flavorless.

I prefer house cut fries, but Jones is by far the best BBQ west of villa Rica ga. I love the sauce, it reminds me of my favorite as a child, Wallace BBQ in lithia springs. If you go into Alabama, there is a place called Marie’s, that is really good, but Jones is probably better. Anything else between temple, and Alabama is no good!!!!!! Hands down one of my top ten!!!!!!

We’d been hearing that the food was pretty good and the people were nice, so we stopped in today for lunch for the first time. We got there at 1:15. Walked in and few people looked up (workers and customers), but no one spoke. There were probably 10 tables occupied in the restaurant. EVERY other table had dirty dishes on it (probably 20 tables). We stood there for a minute or so and looked for a clean table in the first room and didn’t find one, so we stepped into the second room. Same story there. So we sat at one of the dirty tables. I know for a fact that at least two employees saw us, because we made eye contact. We sat at a dirty table for almost 10 minutes. Not ONCE did anyone say hi, tell us they would be with us in a minute, apologize for the wait, offer to clean the table, or even smile at us….nothing. So we got up and left.

Nothing home cooked here. Everything is bland, cold and soggy. No collard greens no Mac and cheese at a bbq joint?? Brisket is shredded to pieces. Not nice chunks with visible fat. Salad dressing seems to be mixed with water to stretch it. Nothing impressive. Didn’t finish any of the food. Wasted trip
