The husband and I have been coming here for years….They never disappoint with their delicious southern menu, cool atmosphere and good customer service….They also have a covered patio with fans and TV’s…..Some nights they have a live band…unfortunately I have not visited at night In some years. On this visit we went for lunch and ordered the lunch specials…blackened catfish sensation salad for me, and seafood pasta with for him. And of course his special came with more food even included dessert!

Been seeing this restaurant for a while when going to Raising Canes. Finally got a chance to check it out. Food fresh tasting. Just wasn’t seasoned or memorable like I like it. The taste reminds me of Beausoleil. Nice atmosphere. Although there wasn’t a greeter (I chose a spot to sit and waited) when the waitress noticed me (less than 5 minutes) she asked if I’d been helped and took my order right away. Great service.

My boys and I arrived at Jones Creek Cafe at 1417 on 6.3.2023. We were told to sit where we like (farely empty). At 1433, the young lady asked what we would like to drink? Drinks came back in 3 minutes… yayy! She took our order 1437, and we ordered 2 full Caesar salads, 2 orders of Hush puppies, a grilled cheese sandwich, and fries. We watched 3 couples come in behind us ordered after us, and within 7 minutes, they received their food, which was 2 shrimp Poboys, no fries, and 2 drinks. We watched them finish their food, we heard arguing in the kitchen, and still no food… By this time, I told my boys if we don’t have our food by 1455, we are out of here. At 1455, we were gathering up ourselves to leave, and around the corner comes the young lady with the tray of food. She apologized and thanked me for her tardiness. She said we were the only ones not complaining. Still no excuse. As we ate our food, 1 order of Hush Puppies were burned and overcooked, and the Caesar salads were not as full as they usually are when I have come in the past. I am really disappointed with this visit, especially when it was my boys’ first time coming. I don’t know what was going on, but it needs to be attended to immediately.

8-3-23 Only reason I’m giving one star is because of the service. Everyone was super kind and friendly. However $83.00 for 4 absolutely horrible hamburgers and the worst fries I’ve ever had was beyond ridiculous. The fries were full of grease and burnt. The burger tasted like someone drowned it in Worcestershire or a tangy sauce.

Been going here for a long time.Consistently mediocre. Service is good, great atmosphere food is ok. Everything just lacks flavor, more like Pennsylvania than Louisiana. Something is missing.. it’s sort of like Dukes in Denham,, there’s a huge gap between JCC and Mike Anderson, Parrains, Acme , Drusilla et all…

Used to go with my dad when it was on Jones creek road roughly 35 years ago. I remember walking in thru an old screen door, crooked & worn, that would slam shut and not many tables but everyone so friendly. My dad would order a dozen oysters on the half shell & a beer. Anybody dining at the time would be amazed that I was even eating them, due to my age. Musta been about 11. It was one of my dads favorite spots and very fond memories for me. Thanks JCC!
