Jonny B’s Sports Bar has been a staple in Mankato since 2006. We cook our beef 11 hours at a low temperature for flavor and that melt in your mouth experience. Please do not expect a hot beef sandwich, we serve our sandwiches at our 158 degree hold temperature. If you are unhappy in any way, please let us know, we will fix it. Both of our meals were lack luster at best. Cold, gray roast beef, canned chili, poor service, a single sticky menu that the waitress peeled off the adjacent table and flicked drink straws off of for the whole table. Best part was the beer.

Usually a 5 if you so pick up. Got here 10 till 6 didn’t get an app until 710 with half the joint empty. Cups stayed empty the entire time, never got a refill for the whole family. After an hour of watching people around us get food we were told the computer system crashed(guy wrote our stuff on a pad), even if it did, folks around us that showed up 20-30 min after us got their food before us. BTW it was one pizza and 2 kids meals. Didn’t even have time to eat by the time we got the food.

Staff was friendly but we were not a fan of the food. It was inexpensive so I didn’t expect great quality but it was pretty bland and the “condiment bar” was unimpressive. Some people may like it but it wasn’t for me.

Order the Roast Beef Sandwich!! You won’t be disappointed! Lots of TVs – great for sports fans. Good people. Good drinks. Good food. What’s not to love about Jonny B’s?!? (On another visit I mistakenly thought I forgot my wallet. 2 employees immediately offered to cover it! HOW KIND!)
