We have been regulars here for 15+ years and always got the same things. The last few times we have started branching out and trying new things and we have never been disappointed! Today I tried the burrito bowl and OMG so delicious and so much food! Can’t wait to keep working through the menu!

Waiter is one we’ve had before. No personality. Ignored my wife twice trying to get his attention for service. Puffy Taco Tuesday is worth it. Extra large tacos were excellent. Other servers are really nice.

Pains me to give our usual go to Mexican restaurant a 2 star but wow lately the servers have been so bad. Very unattentive, awkward check ins, walk by and don’t say anything, just weird. Also the happy hour tacos have gone to complete utter horrible. Last time they gave us tacos that were like 1/3 full and this time they changed the tortilla to make the taco look fuller and the tortilla was terrible!!! Our cheese dip was basically cold. We had to point it out that it was paste and the next one could he please bring one that is more liquid. After asking he brought a good one. Pay attention and bring good ones the first time. We used to live here so looked forward to this being in our rotation of KC restaurants. Well this one won’t be on the list next time. So sad.

Margarita was hot and ice completely melted. Server was new which is fine but another server deliver drinks and spilled the whole tray, again, mistakes happen but my leg was covered in sticky beverage and shattered glass. Floor wasn’t cleaned up for 10 minutes, broken glass everywhere. Really poor experience.

I placed an order for carry out, and when I went to pay, there was no way to use a gift card or to click pay at pick up. So that time was wasted. I go to the store and placed my order, paid with the gift card and debit card. Then it took an unusually long time to get our food. I know I should have checked, but they did not give us the salad and dressing my wife wanted. The food was good but the service was not!! Disappointing!!

Always a favorite. Every time I’ve taken someone that’s never been, they always love it. I eat here once or twice a week. Can’t go wrong with classics like Monterey chicken buritto or Pollo magnifico! But the steak tower on the appetizer menu is great. (I ask for them to substitute the normal dipping sauce for the tomatilla ranch. So good!) The blackened chickened Verde is currently my favorite! The chicken & chorizo buritto is also amazing!
