Divine little place for the most elegant brunch! A mimosa is a must! The interior is so delicately decorated like you are eating in a fancy farmhouse home. The lemon ricotta pancakes are so good! Service is amazing and you definitely need a reservation. They have some outdoor seating that is dog friendly. This is definitely the place you want to go for unique dishes and a local atmosphere!

The look of this place is beautiful, attention to details that makes a difference. My burrata was absolutely delicious, the elements in that dish all combined in my mouth was a new amazing experience. The avocado toast was also good, nothing extraordinary and my cappuccinos were perfect. The attitude of our redhair waitress was not the best when we arrived. I don’t know if she was having a bad day but as a customer I shouldn’t feel a bother when asking for things (sugar, butter) and her face showed that. But we only showed kindness and thanked every time so her attitude changed at the end when she finally asked if the food was good. I’m not sure if I would come back here, probably only to eat that burrata again.

Everything we had was tasty, from the pancakes to the huevos rancheros. That said, the price point of $20+ for good but not especially memorable food is unfortunate. The space itself is bright and airy while still feeling homey. There are better places to spend too much on brunch in Austin but if you find yourself here there’s plenty on the menu to enjoy.

This is a cute spot for a brunch date. The menu has a full variety of entrees and smaller bites as well as great coffees, teas and cocktails. We had the Josephine House Burger and added a fried egg as well as the breakfast sandwich – both were fantastic. We also had a tea and coffee which was quite nice. The ambiance here is really quaint and the service was good and quick although I was told that service can be very slow at times. Overall the food was excellent and the ambiance was perfect for brunch. I’d recommend coming here!

Had the most lovely brunch here, everything had excellent flavor!! The blueberry banana bread was immaculate and my avocado toast was so super yummy. My boyfriend got the rice bowl and everything was seasoned so perfectly. Definitely would recommend this place.

Made a lunch visit and was surprised at the brunch menu but found several interesting dishes to consider. The service is great and quality of the food good. The pancakes had been recommended which I will need to try on a return visit. The Lox is house made and good but could have been enhanced with a mustard and dill sauce as it was a bit bland.

This place has ruined steak nights for me! I decided to treat myself to an early, nice dinner. I was craving steak and found Josephine House offers a Monday night steak night. It is fantastic. I sat at the bar. It is a 3 course meal with wine throughout. I got the chicken mousse, filet, and chocolate cake. It was Incredible. The mouse was light and paired awesome with the side salad. The filet had a Smokey taste and was cooked to perfection alongside a mountain of fries. The chocolate tart was decadent and beautifully made. The bartender was kind and not overbearing. Fantastic place. The parking kinda sucks though.

Food gets 5 stars despite high prices. Every dish was outstanding! Service was 3.5 stars. Ambience inside, which included music so loud we could not hear each other- 1 star. Very disappointed. We’ll never understand why restaurants seem to want to drown out conversations at tables with music.
