absolutely insane little soul food place. catfish was perfect, the collard greens were super flavorful and the yams put me to sleep. home of good eating???? hell yeah it is. was also greeted by the nicest guy to take my order, he even threw in some free desserts to try. 10000000% will be back here next time im in toledo. give them all your business

This place might be my new go to place! My hubby, son and I stop here for dinner! And honestly everything was wonderful! It was my first time here, the guy whom help me (I didn’t get his name) but he was so wonderful !! Helped me look over the menu was very patient with me! Customer service top 10! So warm and welcoming! Now the food! The food was fantastic! I am definitely in love! Everything was a 10/10! If you’re unsure I definitely recommend!! You won’t be disappointed!!

Visited this place from Vegas and had to come here twice within 3 days. The food was so amazing and would definitely come back again. Location is near the downtown glass city center area. I got the roast chicken and the next day was the oxtail plate on sunday. Food is delicious and great customer service everyone treats you like family, highly recommend!

Amazing, real deal soul food. Hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten (seasoning is fabulous), might be the best mac & cheese too, at least top 2, greens are on point too. Ordered a wing meal with yams and Mac n cheese and it was awful. Extremely salty chicken. Extremely salty Mac and the cheese did not adhere to the noodles so the texture was horrible. The yams were over cooked and way too sweet. Couldn’t even enjoy it, money wasted. Do not recommend

Our first time here,Food was delicious. I had ox tails w/rice, greens, yams. My husband had baked chicken w/dressing an Mac cheese, potato salad, peach cobbler. Everything was Seasoned just right. Only critique I will give is tone back on the sugar in the yams,and cobbler, and cook ur rice a little longer,add gravy over the baked chicken over all the food was delicious and we will come back again.
