1.5 hrs here it took 5 minutes to be seated (no staff up front) another 10 to finally get bread and drink order. Crab cake was subpar and not a jumbo crab cake and fell apart son got the butter lettuce salad which was Decent and good.

Honestly really love Joseph’s. Me and my husband love that we can get consistently good food. I don’t like my steaks over seasoned, so it’s just right for me. The mashed potatoes are the best I’ve ever had. They always cook my steak perfect too. They always seem to be short on staff, so sometimes it can take a little while to get the food. But the service is good, and the staff are always very polite and welcoming. Always a good experience, but if you’re impatient or super picky then probably don’t go. More for me anyway But a great local spot, I don’t have to drive 45 minutes into Austin for a good steak dinner not to mention the prices are relatively fair, I paid $22 for my NY strip dinner. One of my favorite places in Elgin.

I waited for 25 minutes and never got any water. The wait here is often long but this was ridiculous. Staff are nice but not enough of them, hire some more people please. You are losing money as the conversation at the door waiting was all about how you are understaffed so folks often go elsewhere. Like me, right now.

For the prices charged at this steakhouse I was greatly underwhelmed. The shrimp scampi came out with the noodles half-cooked and very bland. My wife had the chicken fried ribeye full of gristle and also pretty much tasteless. Way time was excessive almost 45 minutes or food to come out. We probably will not be back

We’ve been here a handful of times and have never quite enjoyed any of our experiences. We came in for Father’s Day this evening and the restaurant was way too hot – myself and my baby were sweating the whole time which made it miserable. It takes awhile to get food, their steaks aren’t that great and I feel like they would do well to hire more people. My husband and I do think they make a great burger though. They only have 1 option for kids that isn’t on the menu. If we eat here again we would most likely just pick it up instead of dining in.
