Joseph’s Steakhouse has basically cloned Peter Luger’s in the center of Bridgeport. We serve serves USDA Prime dry-aged beef. USDA Prime is the most tender and flavorful grade of beef available. Zagat has had this to say about us: “It’s all about the beef” at this Bridgeport chophouse owned by a Peter Luger alum, where “sizzling, juicy” steaks, including the “hulking” porterhouse for two, are served by “friendly” waiters in a “masculine”, “dark-wood” setting; admirers insist it “really stands out”, touting it as a “fabulous” “special-occasion place.” For years we have received awards for being the best steakhouse in CT. Visiting Bridgeport and happened upon Joseph’s Steakhouse. I sat at the bar and had a Birdseye view of the work all the waitstaff were performing. Ryan the bartender kept the drinks flowing and made an excellent recommendation for the Salmon and wine. Absolutely delicious. This is not your typical Steakhouse. The waitstaff are seasoned veterans who know what the customers want and how to deliver it. My food and experience was top notch and I would gladly return. I highly recommend Joseph’s Steakhouse to those who want excellent food and service and are willing to pay a little extra to get it. Well worth the money.

I wanted to give it a 4.5 but I guess you can’t do half stars on google. As close to Peter Luger’s as we’re going to get here in CT. It is, by far, the best steakhouse I’ve ever tried in Connecticut. Highly recommend. The soups and salads are delicious and are ridiculously reasonably priced for a place of this stature.

I wish I can give them 10 stars. That was the best tasting steak I’ve ever had in my life. The staff was very attentive and I also had the asparagus which was cooked perfectly and their special salad is a meal in itself and is the best salad I’ve ever had in my entire life. I recommend this place to everybody. The price is very expensive but the food is out of this world

I was very happy with my huge rib eye steak that was really the best I ever had!!!!I mean this was huge, 24 ozs they said it weighed but it looked bigger than that!! It was cooked beautifully!!!!Husband had the Salmon dish which he really enjoyed. We had a really nice sophisticated waitor which you do not see these days. Definitely highly recommend!!!!!

Joseph’s Steakhouse is an amazing spot for incredible food! I definitely recommend stopping by for an exquisite dining experience. The staff was extremely attentive and all wore masks. If you like bacon this is definitely a place you don’t want to pass up. As an appetizer they offer thick cut bacon which was not only unique but cooked to perfection and deliciously tender!!! There wasn’t a dish served that wasn’t absolutely perfect. To top off a wonderful dinner was cheesecake for dessert. It was adorned with strawberry sauce and a side of homemade whip cream. I love cheesecake and I have to say this was “The best” cheesecake I have ever tasted. The crust had hints of cinnamon and just the right amount of sweet to compliment the smooth texture of the cheesecake coupled with the strawberry sauce and a spot of whip creme with every bite! I highly recommend Joseph’s Steakhouse if you are looking for the best of everything. The atmosphere was nostalgic which pulled me back in time and created a very relaxing dining experience!

It was not cheap but we left with no regrets. Joseph’s is a classy, excellent steakhouse and the service is impeccable! Everything we ordered, steak, salmon, lobster, veggies, was cooked to perfection. The staff was so attentive to us, it felt like there was no one else in the restaurant, even though it became very crowded at some point. All staff treated our little boy very well, he had a blast! This might be our new favorite place, we’ll return for sure!
