I dined here on Tuesday for a birthday dinner for a dear friend, and simply had a fantastic time. The server, Aubrey (I hope I’m spelling that right!), was the perfect point between being present and accommodating without being overbearing or seemingly absent. She was the consummate professional, friendly and had excellent suggestions for the both of us on the menu, having clearly familiarized herself with both it and how people tend to respond to the various items.

Peter was our waiter and he made our 16th wedding anniversary so special!!! He is amazing and knowledgeable. The food was perfection and the cocktails were awesome!!!!! The dining room was beautiful. What an amazing time we had for my son Andrew birthday! Peter brought the upmostimpressive service ! He is “gush” worthy 🙂 Our big groupkept him on his toes and he did not miss a beat! The absolute best dining experience I have ever had in Iowa City. The atmosphere, service and food were incredible. Cannot say enough about our server Garrett, A+ all around. Highly recommend the petite filet mignon and the boursin mashed potatoes. Also loved their house old fashioned.

One of the best restaurants I have been to in downtown Iowa City. Close to hilton hotel where I stayed for over a month. Had gone there for the first time with my coworkers and I loved the place, service and oh boy the food. Peter who served us was very welcoming and suggested few drinks and dishesh with charm. He has great ability to keep the customer engaged and happy. He suggested A different style of Margarita and I fell in love with it so much, that I have had it many a times since then. Chicken Marsala almost gave me foodgasm and so did the onion rings. They have a bar outside where I had a few drinks, Thanks to Peter and Hannah for their great customer service and I shall visit Josephs again soon.
