This has got to be one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, the bread was soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. There was a great ratio of lettuce to meat and pickles, and the flavors worked together perfectly. If you’re ever around Sun River, definitely visit Josie K’s Deli and Kitchen!

Amazing food!! We love the Beef Dip on Thursdays. My favorite is the Dagwood Chopped Salad. It is LOADED with turkey, ham, salami, provolone and cheddar cheese, tomato, cucumber, and white onion with Josie’s famous dressing. I usually get this salad every time because it is so good. All of Josie’s food is good quality food. You can’t go wrong on anything on the menu. Everything is delicious.

One of the few deli places I’ve reviewed. The turkey and provolone cheese sandwich was delicious. The bread is made locally and fresh. The cookies were delicious. The place is designed for mostly takeout since there wasn’t much seating space. A return spot while in Sun River.

Very solid sandwiches at a very reasonable price. Seems like a locals spot in the midst of Sunriver tourist land. Baked goods from sparrow bakery are great as was the lasagna which we got for a group meal. Waits can be pretty long so call ahead or go online to place your order

Fresh, flavorful, well priced sandwiches. Ordered the Dagwood and turkey provolone. The veggies were so fresh and crisp, the bread soft and the meat quality. Came with a side of chips and a delicious cookie. Ordered online for take out and items were ready a few minutes early. Everything was per the order. Great spot and will definitely visit again.

Everything you want a deli to be. I have been twice now, and when I am craving a good sandwich, this is the spot now at the top of my list. There is nothing really surprising or mind-blowing, everything is just what it should be. The bread is fresh, the meat is tasty, the prices are fair, the service is friendly and fast and the little biscotti that comes with each sandwich is such a nice touch.

The sandwiches were very tasty, however, I was very disappointed when I realized the “small” BLT was literally half of a regular bread sandwich. I was very disappointed that I paid $6.99 for half of a sandwich when I could have paid $9.99 for the entire thing. The menu should have been more clear about what a small was. Definitely not worth the price.

The hot pastrami will have you drooling, but the veggie is my favorite because the cheddar they use has so much flavor and the veggies are so fresh. Sandwiches are made with great care (and lots of mayo), and the ingredients are top-notch.
