The WORST place in Washington to visit avoid at all cost. I visited Washington last week and was racially profiled and discriminated against by the women that was working because of the clothes I was wearing after I refused the food that she may have poisoned she REFUSED to give me a refund. The women working had a very nasty attitude and money hungry and made sure she charged my card before she told me “if I come to her restaurant dressed like I am she will not serve me “ personally the little shack she was working in is rundown and she is lucky to have customers and needs to be grateful for however wants to put their health at risk to eat at her filthy place

Really cute! We’ve only used the drive thru for snow cones and fair food, there are lots of flavor options. Will look forward to returning here for a round of putt-putt. Definitely a little Washington gem for children.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have passed this place plenty of times and have never tried. Today my son mentioned he wanted to try it. I drove around and waited at the window for a few minutes and saw a lady come up smiling on her phone and sat down at the window. She continued to talk on the phone laughing and picked up a $20 bill and examine it and then open the register all while not even opening the window. She didn’t even acknowledge that I was sitting there waiting at any point. I waited a few more minutes in disbelief and drove off. I ain’t saying she was a rude old racist but there’s really no explanation as to why she sat there cackling on her phone and ignoring a customer. 1st and last time ever attempting this place. Reading the reviews it seems POC seem to have the same issue here, HARD PASS!

They took forever to even take my order. They didn’t offer a receipt so of course your order is free which all we ordered was a kiddie cup. He said you paid with pelican’s bucks so it was free (NO I paid for those bucks) he gave me my money back though. As we pull off the lady sticks her head out and said don’t come back! Very unprofessional. I won’t come back and will be sure to tell others how they treated me when I wasn’t rude to them about it!

Coming from MD I was happy to find a snowball stand in Washington. Although the cost was a bit more than I was used to paying for flavored frozen ice, Pelican’s does satisfy the craving. Sadly with no competition, this is the only game in town. But it appeared clean, was tasty, and the friendly young man working one late night Saturday was kind enough to serve us even though we hit it just at closing time.
