Fantastic food experience! I enjoyed the experience here and loved every minute of it with my husband. For our anniversary weekend finding new places to eat this hit the spot. The service was good too. As we showed up right when they opened. We ordered Baked Lobster Roll, Fire Lion King roll, and Seahawk Roll. Now in that order are my favorites. For the portion size it’s perfect! Meant for two people for sure. We had no idea what we were walking into either. But DEFIANTLY coming back for sure!

The food was super tasty and fast, I like big bites but if your mouth is smaller good luck also loosely wrapped so fell apart easy. the server was nice but not very attentive. I’ve never listened to so many Taylor Swift songs in a row. I would prefer a more traditional atmosphere in my restaurants. The set chef special calamari was not very good(onion rings looking in the picture).

We have consistently eaten here for 6 months once a week, my partner has been coming for years. The QUALITY of the sushi puts everything else in the Portland metro/ Vancouver area to shame and has made it impossible to eat sushi anywhere else. The price point is perfect and would happily pay much more for what we get.

Food was beyond expectations. This place is truly a hidden gem. Everything was fresh and delicious. And loved how the sushi came out on a boat. The waitress was friendly, professional and welcoming. I can’t wait to travel 100 miles and stop there again.

Their sushi is unexplainably delicious. Some of the best sushi in the Portland metro area. The snapper on the rainbow roll, and the scallop nigiri were my personal hilights. Miso was ok. I’ve always loved it, eaten there about 5 times.

Wow, I dipped in to Joy Sushi about 30 mins before closing. They smiled, sat me quickly and food was ready within just a few minutes. But the amazing thing was that the sushi pieces were absolute slabs of fish ! See my pic, sorry I munched half of 1 piece for flavor right away cuz I was so hungry. I’d planned on ordering more but the first round filled me up. Totally try this place. The fish was even more fresh than it was huge.
