My friend took me out here last night. It was incredible! The vibe was on point, the service was out of this world, and the food was cooked to perfection. The owner was so nice and told us the story of this restaurant and it’s so touching! I highly recommend ordering the catfish it melted in my mouth. We also ordered the duck, game hen, corn bread, the tomahawk porkchop, and tasty drinks. I enjoyed all of the food I just listed out. Ask about their French 75 using fresh basil from their garden! I can’t wait to come back here.

They had a great Rhone blend on their wine list. It’s hard to find a good French wine at most places I visit in LA. My favorite dishes were the cornbread and the hushpuppies. You will not be disappointed by the hushpuppies – Get them. The Caesar Salad was good and inventive if you are into that sort of thing.

It just opened up this week and I’ve been eagerly waiting to see if the food and drinks matched the chic, clean, and colorful decor that’s been going up over the last couple weeks, and it sure did! This place is exactly what Downtown LA needed. You can’t beat the vibe/ambience but the food and drinks are what will really keep you coming back! They have some really unique items on the menu that is perfect for sharing. Perfect mix of upscale but casual, can’t recommend enough for a date night out or a chill dinner with friends. Try it out and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
