Best chicken I had in a while, they definitely know how to fry stuff. Mild was a little spicy, hot was I would say medium. The chicken was absolutely delicious, juicy. I could not make myself to stop eating it.

Best tasting spicy chicken we’ve had. The shrimp burrito is delicious. Spice levels are serious. We like the extra hot and super hot but true heat is seriously spicy and we couldn’t eat more than a few bites.

Some of the best hot chicken I’ve ever had. The banana pudding was great to. I like a good amount of spice. And i thought the Hot was the right amount. I suggest the chicken sandwich. I really liked the baked beans too.

The chicken sandwich was on point. Everything was fresh and good, but let me tell you, if you get the “dare” level of heat be prepared for misery! Lovely hot misery! It really is hot, but delicious. Will return if I’m in the area.

I ordered the 3 tender combo with fried pickles and coleslaw as sides. The chicken and pickles were fantastic – the coleslaw had good flavor but not traditional style. The Mac and cheese is peppered or has pimento’s, I’m not quite sure, it is alright though. A bit of a wait during lunch time but definitely worth it.

Food was delicious! Had to try the chicken sandwich but went for the Shrimp Po-Boy they are now offering for a limited time. My hopes are that the Po Boy sandwiches will become a regular part of their menu as it was as good or better than the chicken sandwich! The baked beans and okra were well-made. Chicken strips are huge and were delicious. The baked beans were great as well. The service was awesome and the restaurant is very nice on the inside. I will eat here again!

Last time I went, it was during a very busy time at around 6:30. Took them about 30 minutes to get my food made. The line was basically out the door. I heard lots of other customers complaining about wait times. But one thing you guys need to understand, the more crowded it gets the more time you’ll have to wait. My Tenders were overcooked and dry but nicely seasoned. My whole wings were perfect tho! And the sweet corn is very inconsistent. Somedays it’s nice and thick, but other it very bland and watery. Also there’s no point in getting true heat, it taste just like the super hot. Highly recommend this place, I eat here a couple times a month!!!

Update – 12/27/22 – 3rd visit (here from WA state) and just like the first two times the food was really good. The only downside to today’s visit was the guy working the front counter wasn’t very friendly, not even a little. I’ll keep coming back , but please educate your staff on what it means to be pleasant/friendly when you are the person making contact with customers. Update – 4/6/22 – Just made my second visit and had lunch. Best meal we’ve had since getting to town on Saturday. Was less busy and food came quicker this time. . Second time now and it was just as good this time as it was the first time. First time trying this place, in town visiting from WA state. I had JP’s Chicken Sandwich combo. The sandwich was really good, but be careful with your heat choice. I picked mild and it was spicier than I expected. My only complaint is how long it took, like 40 minutes to get our three orders.

Their chicken is fantastic. My only complaint is that (just my personal opinion) their sweetcorn is too sweet. It’s a bit much. I’d also like some unsweet tea. Let’s be nice to the diabetics.

Ordered Online because I know the wait can occasionally get long, especially at dinner. Placed my order at 4:40 and did not receive it until 5:20, only to get home and realize that all my wings are all DRUMS, when I asked for all FLATS. I know its ‘not guaranteed’ but I would have been okay with a mixture, not all of them being the exact opposite of what I wanted.
