Walked in late Saturday and told JP it was my first time and he hooked me up with a little of everything. 5 meats and 6 sides enough for 4 people and for about half the price it could be other places. Everything was amazing but my favorite meats were the beef ribs and pulled pork. Bbq chicken is usually dry most places but JP was the best I’ve had. Collards were also best I’ve had and the green beans and baked beans also tops. Can’t believe it took me so long to give it a try. Just get there early because he closed early since I got all the rest of the meats!

OH MAN! This place was amazing. If your looking for some bbq this place is where it’s at. JP is incredible! Extremely nice and welcoming. We were lucky because today he had some gumbo as a special that was right on point. The ribs were so good that they don’t even need sauce. This is down home good cooking. You can taste the love and can’t he puts his heart in his food. I can’t wait to go back. He adds and tries different specials. So you can find things here that you won’t find anywhere else. The wife is excited to try the salmon. JP treats you like family and won’t let you leave hungry. Thanks JP for such a great experience!

This is hands down the best BBQ around. The pulled pork and brisket are for real and do not play around. The sides are immaculate. The collards are incredible. JP’s customer service is outstanding and so welcoming. My husband and I aren’t getting our BBQ fix anywhere else except JP’S from now on. Go if you haven’t!

My wife and I had lunch at JP’s. She had chicken, potato salad, and collard greens while I had sausage baked beans. Unfortunately he had been wiped out of brisket, and pulled pork by the time we arrived so we improvised. Her chicken was moist and flavorful, the sausage was really good and a generous portion.
