JRECK Subs Menu – Lowville, NY

Type : Sandwich shop

Location : Lowville, NY

Fresh-made subs and sides that redefine delicious! JRECK Subs was founded in 1967 when five Northern New York schoolteachers started selling submarine sandwiches out of an old, converted school bus. Their names were Jerry Haley, Robert Martin, Ellis Martin, Charles Lehman, and Keith Waltz. And, if you take the first letter of each of their names and put them together, you get the word, “JRECK.” Since then, JRECK subs stores have opened up throughout New York State and continue to offer the best-tasting subs around. Each JRECK Subs store is locally owned and operated by dedicated franchisees who honor our past by retaining a foundational engagement of support with educators, schools and other organizations in the Lowville area.

Chain of casual sandwich shops serving hot & cold submarine sandwiches, plus soups & salads. Based on 152 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.1 stars. Price $

They don’t ever answer they finally answered after 45 calls. I haven’t ate there in so long they used to be the best place in town. And this is what I got today for my buffalo chicken sub.

Normally, jrecks is my favorite place for subs. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the roast beef on my sub was very grisly and hard to eat, making it a messy experience.

Lettice was starting to brown and the half on my sandwich that I brought home and was tasted to eat that evening, seemed to have grit in it.

The service was great from the one employee that was there. The food was good, and the sausages for my sub were cooked to order. The employee was sweet enough to let me know in advance that it was going to take some time.

Ehh. If your not from then know, Jersey Mike’s, which which, Jimmy John’s, and as much as I hate to say it subway are better. The menu sounds extravagant, but it’s all pre frozen nothing fresh. It seems no one that works there has ever had someone ask for all the ingredients which is less than any other sub place you’ve ever been, and they still won’t even attempt to close the sandwich. It’s alright not that great the menu reads allot more than what your gonna get.

Such an amazing place. I came in today (10/08/2018 at 3pm) on one of the worst days of my life. The day we say our goodbyes to my sweet and wonderful grandmother. The staff member, a young gentlemen took my order and made it with such care and perfection. He made polite suggestions as I didn’t know what to order, and when my order was ready I was already seated and he brought it out to me personally. The food is great but the staff here makes this one of my favorite eateries in lowville. I was so appreciative for the top notch service and the good grub. It helped put a happy note back into such a grievous day. Thank you so much young man, I wish id taken the time to catch your name. And thank you Jrecks of Lowville for employing such fine men and women in our community. As always, always a pleasure.
