We were going for Sushi when I Saw a sign advertising Asian Street food on Tennessee Street, and decided to try it. This was a great food decision! The service was a little slow but the food and the price point made up for it. The employees were super friendly and the restaurant was clean. When in Tallahassee I totally recommend AJ’s Asian Street food restaurant. and we took food home.

The restaurant was good. The pad thai was good but it was missing some umami notes and was a little more on the greasy side. This was my first time trying shumai dumplings and they were good especially with the sauce! The drinks were really good too, I would go again.

Came here for more than six times, but I saw the quality change to worse. Probably same prices(some items definitely rise a bit), but quantity totally became less and less. The signature bao used to be 4 and $12, now same price but only 2. Fried calamari is almost only half of previously. and $11. Banana Roti was three layers for pieces, now only two. Kimchi fried rice with several pieces kimchi only, taste just like soy fried rice, you cannot taste kimchi flavor at all. Believe me, please never order taro milk tea here, just purple color falvored water. If still keep food quality and quantity like this, will never come back again, really disappointed. Two stars are all for our server Sara, really nice, friendly and helpful. Food previous is really good, now sucks.

This is the second time I have gone through this same issue, I ordered through uber eats the summer spring rolls in which both times I asked in the notes for the shrimp to be replaced with pork as I am allergic and that I would pay any extra costs . Yet again , I was given shrimp in summer rolls contaminating anything it touched causing me to have throw out the food and having to go through customer service through Uber since the restaurant supposedly cannot fix their repeated issue through their end and don’t seem to care.

Cannot recommend this place enough!! I’ve been looking forward to trying this new restaurant out, and finally got the chance to do so today. I’m glad to say I’ll be coming back here regularly! It exceeded my expectations, the food was so flavorful, the inside was beautiful, the staff were super friendly, and it was just such an amazing experience. I’m so excited to come back and try more of their food, literally every dish was DELICIOUS.
