Beef stew was good, came with a scoop of rice and mac salad. Wish the scoop of rice was slightly larger for the amount of stew given. Lady at the front didn’t look very happy. Food was good so I’ll have to come back and try the other stuff

Ok this place is worth leaving a review!!! I got the J’s special and EVERYTHING in the plate was flavorful and delicious!! There wasn’t a long wait time and the kids got to sit comfy while enjoying there fry chicken wings plate. This is definitely a place we’ll be returning to!!!

If construction workers frequent the place, you know it’s good and reasonable. Right next door to Morning Brew Café. Simple and quick, low key, great food with great portions. You rarely find prices like these anymore. The breakfast special at $4.99 – hands down, easily one of the best deals and values in town. They don’t make ’em like this anymore. Cashier and cook seem to work well together and friendly, low key. They offer a catering menu too! With ample street parking, you can get a quick and ono breakfast – cheap! Go for it brah! Cannot go wrong! ✌

Some ono grinds! This spot has great Korean and local Hawaiian style BBQ. From chicken to beef and pork, it’s a great place to pick up a full combination meal plate with rice, Mac and Kim Chee on the side. Ask for the Korean red hot sauce, it’s delicious!

The food was great, quick and filling! Lunch portion for the price was awesome. I got the spicy chicken and the chicken was moist with good flavor, but little heat. Would definitely come back to try the Kalbi.

I’m a loyal Soon’s customer. But was so glad to find a solid, delicious korean plate lunch in town. Their meat jun is the second best I’ve ever had. Soon’s is still number one for me. However J’s spicy bbq chicken may be tops for bbq chic plates.

My friends and I were tourists looking for a place to eat in this neighborhood and after parking our rental (in the pouring rain), realized we needed quarters to pay for parking. I went in here to ask for change without saying we were coming here first, and the women at the front rudely dismissed me, she didn’t even look up to acknowledge me. Needless to say, we decided not to come here and instead around the corner to Redfish Poke Bar (which we highly recommend because their food was bomb AND they gave me change for parking).
